Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Nakagyo Ward

Looked like the pictures. The only bad thing was that there was only one lock in the front door keeping anyone out.

Very nice single house, close to the station, there is a big supermarket nearby.The only thing to note is that it is easy to get over 180cm tall and you need to get used to it.Overall, it's a great value!

Soochan is such a great host! She helped us with so many details that were confusing to us being in a foreign country. She helped us find transportation and restaurants. The unit was clean and comfortable and in a very convenient location for what we needed.

We had a great stay at our Kyoto Airbnb. The place was very clean, and the host was responsive and helpful, answering all of our questions promptly. The Airbnb had everything we needed to cook. It’s also located close to a supermarket, which was a huge plus. You will need to use Nijo station or an uber to get to the tourist areas. Overall would definitely recommend this place.

A clean and tidy traditional home in Kyoto. Well located near the train station and in a very quiet neighbourhood. the host left very clear guides for locating the house and checking in.

The house was beautiful and in a quiet location. There was a convenience store right down the road that was convenient for us and it was not far from all the areas in Kyoto we wanted to see. Ikuyo answered any questions we had and left awesome recommendations for both food and things to do. We will definitely stay here again!

I really had a good time staying here. The location is close to Kyoto Station, so it’s convenient for visiting Mt Inari, Nara, Uji, and Osaka. Several bus stops nearby also made it easy to reach local attractions I wanted to visit, such as Nishiki Market (a must-visit) and the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. Two convenience stores are nearby as well: Family Mart (the closest) and 7-Eleven. The room has a washing machine, which was very helpful since I always worked up a sweat after a day of walking. It also includes a fridge and an air conditioner. The bathroom and toilet are both very good. I highly recommend this place when visiting Kyoto.

Great place to stay. May’s instructions on finding the apartment were perfect (she even sent the address to us in Japanese to show the taxi driver). She met us & showed us how everything worked but also left clear written instructions. The flat was really well equipped and had lovely comfortable beds, plenty of hanging space and a great shower! The location is ideal, easy to walk around the area and less than 10 minutes walk to the subway.

The Kyoto apartment was well positioned, close to several bus lines and only about a five minute walk from the river and many restaurants and bars. The washing machine was appreciated and it felt more down to earth to get the experience of a proper apartment while on our travels. The hosts were very communicative and made us feel well hosted.

The place is very clean, neat and tidy. Has really good quality amenities including an espresso machine, a dryer room. It's very easy to find as it appears on the map directly when you put House Nozomi Hayashi San is very responsive and looked into one of our concerns immediately. It's near a bus stop with multiple buses going into the town. Katsuragawa station is about 1.5 KM, so bit of a walk when you have luggage or are tired. But we got cabs fairly easily. Do your research on places you want to travel to in Kyoto so you can see if the location works for you. In terms of convenience, lots of shops, supermarkets etc are available. It feels spacious. It would have been better to have access to the wardrobe, but we had a short stay so we did not mind living out of our suitcases. Overall good place, good amenities, location is good but that's subjective. Good, professional host.

Really lovely place to stay, it's small but has everything you need and the location is great. Away from the main hustle and bustle but a very short walk to the station to take you everywhere you need to be. The host is absolutely lovely, couldn't do enough to help! Their cafe next door is great too. Would love to come back

Great little apartment which was surprisingly spacious for Japan!

This was an amazing place to stay. Pretty centrally located for exploring Kyoto. Apartment is large with a great view of the city. There is a bar and rooftop in the building. The noise was noticeable at night but did not affect our sleep. Bring earplugs just in case. I would definitely stay here again.
