Monthly Rentals in Nakatsugawa

We had a little trouble getting there by train... but as soon as we arrived, our worries disappeared. We were greeted by Miwa's mother who was immediately very kind and inviting. She gave us a tour of the accommodation with explanations. She speaks only a little English, but she used her phone to translate for us, which was very much appreciated. During the rest of the stay, she was always available to answer our questions. We also did business with her for the rental of electric bicycles, a very pleasant activity. On our last evening, Miwa's mom even came to offer us a homemade dessert. The accommodation itself is a traditional house that is too cute and very spacious. In short, a great experience, we loved it. ❤️

It has everything we need for a few days of stay in town, sightseeing and remote working at the same time. The house is close to a major roadway so the car noise from the street is a little loud. However, we enjoyed the spaciousness of the house, multiple rooms for different activities, and a home away from home vibe! Will come back again!

Huge accommodation, would reccomend to large groups but there is only one bathroom. All amenities worked well and the place was very clean and comfortable. It is right in front of the temple so it can get quite eerie at night especially if you’re arriving late, but the neighbourhood is very quiet and safe. Very walkable to the convenience store outside which was open 24h. We had a car and could drive to the nearby supermarkets, which were huge and provided many ingredients for us to cook with. I would recommend it for large groups because the accommodation is big and would feel cozier with more people. Many sets of cutlery and good cookware provided.

Noriko was a fabulous host. Her house was spotless and I very much enjoyed the rural and local surrounding area. She was easy to communicate with, responded promptly and even gave tips for what to do in the area.
