The charming wing includes a master bedroom on the first floor with adjoining pigeonnier for use as study or extra bedroom, while the ground floor comprises a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, kitchen, open plan living/dining room and an exercise room.

Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Both villages are less than 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.

The property is the old Smithy & Stable of a converted barn which has been refurbished giving a large open plan aspect to the kitchen/diner/lounge. There are 2 good sized bedrooms both en-suite. The rooms are light and airy with a nice homely yet modern feel. There is access to a nice and relaxing pool area surrounded by well kept gardens and grounds with a terrace area for outside dining. There is a fun petite chateau with attached swing and play area for the children to enjoy.

The accommodation is 1.5 km from the water body of Nantheuil and its beach, 3 km from Thiviers. The cottage includes a bedroom with a 140 double bed and a bedroom , with either 2 90 beds or a 140 bed. We do not accept more than 4 people, possibly 1 small animal. The bed and towels provided.
