Beach apartment holiday rentals in Napili-Honokowai

We came here on our honeymoon and couldn’t ask for anything better. The view was perfect, we loved watching the sunset. The natural lighting in the morning and the birds chirping were wonderful. It was about 20 minutes from everything we wanted to do (surfing and snorkeling the bay). It was a quick, peaceful, and beautiful walk to food and nearby beaches. The home was very clean and there’s plenty of fans to keep cool. We absolutely loved it and would come back again in a heartbeat.

When searching for a nice place to stay sight unseen, especially after such a loss to the community, we were pleasantly surprised. We wanted something private yet still in the heart of the activity for our wedding and honeymoon. Maui is breathtaking, and the views from the balcony were incredible. Every day, we could see sea turtles in the water from our private beach, and we were even greeted by a few that spent the night on the beach during our stay. The space was fantastic, and the bed was really comfortable. It was also conveniently close to necessities like the ABC store and a few shopping centers. Heidi was very prompt when we reported a minor issue, and she resolved it quickly while keeping us updated throughout the process. Thank you for hosting us! We will definitely be recommending this spot to all our friends and family, and we hope to visit again sometime!

From the moment we arrived, it felt like home. Melissa was a perfect host and gave great recommendations from food and groceries, to the best places to snorkel and find adventure steps from the condo. Accommodations were exactly as described, and the beds were so comfortable. We loved the decor, and it was so clean and organized. The a/c and ceiling fans kept us cool and comfortable. Relaxation was a top priority, and our stay was so peaceful with plenty of space for our family to spread out, and yet cozy enough to gather and just be together! The pools were great, and the bbq areas were clean with excellent prep space to dine al fresco. Restaurants were within walking distance after long adventure days. The kitchen was well-stocked with thoughtful cooking supplies and a large fridge. We were able fill our water bottles with filtered water from the fridge - so nice! Loved the chairs, umbrella, and the wagon for our days at the beach. We are looking forward to our next stay!

This place at Mahana is seriously the best place to stay if you want to enjoy the tranquility of Maui and the insanely beautiful ocean views and the blue water. Prakash was really proactive in sharing instructions, in informing us about activities in the building etc. The place was clean, the furnishings were perfect, aptly sufficient without making the place cluttered. Would definitely go back the next time we visit Maui.

This rental was far above any rental we have used in the past, and we have been coming to Lahaina for many years. Marcella is a terrific host. The condo was very well furnished with everything we needed. Our four weeks went way too quickly, and we can’t wait to get back next year. If you are looking for the perfect Maui rental, look no further than this unit. It is fantastic.

Beautiful view. Woke up to rainbows and sea turtles popping their heads up almost every day. Easy access, parking and great amenities. Also the ‘starter’ laundry pods, dishwasher pods and toilet paper were adequate. Some places give you nothing. This one was great. Close access to beaches/ resorts for dinners & spa. Pull out sofa as second bed is actually comfortable.

We are happy that we chose this place. It was comfortable. The balcony was spacious, the beach felt private and we were able to swim with turtles right out back. Peaceful area and great restaurants. We loved Dukes and Captain Jacks at walking distance. We will definitely come back .

The perfect spot to stay for an adventure filled Maui vacation. It is centrally located on the island where there are multiple food trucks, restaurants, and a grocery store in walking distance. The place is at an intersection of 2 somewhat busy streets but the street traffic was not heard inside. The apartment owner has a big map of Maui hanging up with about 20 suggested locations to visit which we found to be very useful as we did a 5-day self-guided tour of the island. I would stay here again for future Maui vacations.

Misti was a wonderful host. Very responsive to any questions or queries we had. Great location with many amenities and restaurants within a short walking distance. And the King bed was quite comfortable and greatly appreciated. Most 1 bd/1ba condos on Maui utilize a queen size bed for some reason. Would book again anytime

Beautiful place and area. Right on the beach, which was amazing. Lots of towels, no need to bring your own shampoo, etc. as those are provided. Well stocked kitchen too. Beach chairs, etc. were also provided. Great trip! We will be back!

this is the best Airbnb on the island! amazing neighborhood close to everything! it felt safe and had a hometown feel. everyone was so friendly. the place itself had everything we needed and the view was incredible! much better than the picture! when our host realized we didn't have beach towels he made sure some were delivered and we were thrilled to come back and see like 6 brand new thick beach towels!! having the washer and dryer in the unit made things so easy too! can't say enough great things about this place and the hosts ! we will be booking here for our next trip! 10/10 recommend!

Gary's place is beautiful! The description on the listing does not do it justice. The Nanea is a dream resort with everything you need. I would stay here again, without hesitation.

This place is an absolute oasis. The freedom to walk a mere few steps directly into the Pacific Ocean was bliss. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth every dollar and I definitely intend to return some day. Highly recommend.

We stayed from June 5-12 and saw soooo many sea turtles from the lanai. Not sure if you can see them year round or just during this time, but it was a real highlight for us! We loved the 5th floor view, both rooms are very comfortable and accommodated two couples well. They have three AC units in the apartment that made it comfortable to sleep at night without getting too hot. The complex has a heated pool that is open until 9PM and scarcely used by others during our visit. They also had beach essentials like folding chairs, a cooler, umbrella, and towels that made our beach trips luxurious! We will definitely look to rent this place again for our future trips to Maui!

This is a wonderful property. Great view. Lots to do nearby. A small beach right beside the property felt like a personal beach. Pool and the hot tub is amazing. We would love to come again

Our stay at the Mahana unit was absolutely incredible! The location was exactly as depicted in the pictures; it was serene, easy to locate, spotless, and had clear instructions. The room was fantastic, and the views from the lanai were simply breathtaking! We could spot the turtles right from our own lanai. It was a lovely touch to have binoculars provided!

This airbnb and the cove are true gems! We tried several other snorkel spots during our trip, but nothing beat snorkeling right here. The house was a perfect fit for our family of five, including three teens, with plenty of space to spread out and chill. We mixed it up with meals: some nights we cooked at the Airbnb with groceries from nearby Napili Market, other nights we grabbed takeout from Joey’s Kitchen or checked out the local food trucks (Kaya Sushi was a favorite). The location is amazing, just a short walk around the cove to Napili Bay, and super close to the Kapalua trail too. We especially loved the breeze flowing through the master bedroom and the high ceilings. Most mornings were spent on the lanai, caffeine in hand, reading, and watching turtles pop their heads up in the water. It was peaceful, relaxing, and everything we hoped for. We hope to come back someday!

What a great place to stay! The pool and beach were just right outside, and we loved that we could watch our big kids in the pool from our balcony! Tons of beach supplies (coolers, water shoes, life jackets, boogie boards, snorkels/fins etc) in the front closet, and a big wagon to carry it all in, which was super helpful. We appreciated the blackout curtains in both bedrooms and all the extra blankets and pillows available. The food cart village right in front of the hotel was a big hit. We would definitely stay here again!

We booked an entire week at Jenny’s place. Check-in was easy and there was ample parking. It was exactly as the pictures showed with great views of the ocean and beach from high atop the 4th floor. The unit had AC for the warm days but we absolutely loved the cool breeze that would carry straight through the unit with the front window shades opened. Sands of Kahana was a beautiful property with beach access, grills to use, a large pool and a really nice restaurant/bar that was reasonably priced. We enjoyed our morning walks to nearby Hawaiian Village Coffee to grab a drink and a light pastry. Other amenities nearby include snorkel shops, a sushi restaurant, general store and cafe. We really enjoyed and made use of the beach chairs and umbrella as we swam at nearby Kapalua Beach and Kaanapali Black Rock. Jenny was so friendly and responsive with her emails outlining all you needed to know about the property and surrounding area. We highly recommend this property and will be back!

This condo on the 11th floor in Kaanapali was an absolute dream! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by floor-to-ceiling windows that opened up to a jaw-dropping panoramic view of the ocean. The balcony became our favorite hangout—we spotted dolphins dancing in the waves and sea turtles gliding near the shore. And the best part? The beach is literally right in front of the building—just a few steps from the lobby to the sand. Inside, the condo had everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay. Every detail felt intentional, from a fully stocked kitchen to beach gear and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home (but better). The owners were incredibly responsive and clearly care about their guests’ experience—they were kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. This wasn’t just a place to stay—it was an experience we’ll never forget. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough. If you're coming to Maui, this is the place you want to be.
