Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Navy Yard, Washington

We had a wonderful stay at Catherine and Barry’s place. The location was perfect—just steps from the popular 8th Street corridor with tons of great dining and local spots, and an easy walk to Nationals Park for game day. The home was spotless, very comfortable, and had everything we needed for a nice visit. Catherine and Barry were friendly, with excellent communication from start to finish. Highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting the area!

Janesh was a fantastic host. We stayed for 8 days and they brought over extra towels mid -week. They accommodated our checkin and checkout times. They had everything we needed including toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and even shampoo! excellent home and excellent host!

Was a great stay for my wife and I. Felt like we lived there when we arrived, and it was a Beautiful space!

What a great air bnb! Kristine has a gem in old town Alexandria! It’s in a perfect location and while parking can be a little tricky, we lucked out the entire weekend and never had to pay for it. This place was great for our family, even with 2 young ones! My husband and I loved drinking wine on the rooftop patio once our kids were asleep. I would 100% re-rent this home if we are ever in Alexandria again.

We were originally planning on staying 2 nights, but had to shorten our trip / stay to 1 night, due to a family emergency. The home was easy to find, and instructions from David were very clear and precise. Conveniently located, with lots of restaurants, supermarket, etc within walking distance. Parking was also very secure and convenient. The only thing we were not too happy about was that the 3rd bedroom, was not really a bedroom, but a common area converted in to a bedroom (queen bed) with a half wall, as mentioned on the listing.

Louise’s place was perfect for an active family of 3 - right by the W&OD trail, close to plenty of parks and other family-friendly activities, and easy access to the highway and metro. Everything was as described, clean, and ideal for a relaxed family vacation. We definitely plan on returning for future trips!

This is a fantastic place to stay if you're going to the Nationals Park - it's right across the street and has convenient restaurants as well. The place was clean and well laid out and exactly what we needed for a quick stay.

We just got back from Jackie's Place! The home was beautifully decorated and clean. It is private, but also close to the best that Alexandria has to offer! We loved walking to coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. We were there to visit colleges for my son and were surprised how close we were to DC and Georgetown. Having the parking spot was also great. We could just leave the car and walk everywhere. Thank you for a great stay!

Maricel's apartment was perfect for us, and Maricel was an extremely thoughtful, friendly and responsive host. We drove down, and didn't want to use the car once there, so the combination of on-site off-street parking and the central highly walkable location were almost too good to be true! We were able to enjoy good long walks down to the National Mall and museums, and also up across Rock Creek Park to the Zoo, and another time up around the Cathedral. The apartment itself is extremely clean and uncluttered, and cheerfully warm and welcoming, with a peaceful aura within which to relax and feel at home. With Trader Joe's just up the street we had everything we needed to self-cater. The huge windows provide a light and airy feel, looking out onto lovely tree-lined streets, and the balcony is a very nice bonus. The neighborhood feels safe, with lots of young people out running, walking dogs or just walking. In summary, we 100% recommend Maricel and her apartment!!

The house was beyond perfect and truly made me feel at home. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t sad to leave. It was in a great location and very close to everything. The house has more than everything you could possibly need. If I ever come to DC again, I’ll definitely stay here. I highly recommend it to everyone.

We enjoyed our stay in DC and we wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else. Mark and Amy were very helpful with all my questions before we arrived and during. Loved the place because it was walkable to the capitol and metro!

John and Adam were excellent hosts. There were very responsive to my questions and issues. I loved the grounds and very well stocked kitchen. I would gladly stay there again.

Trish’s place was very clean , cozy and spacious! She is a very polite host and we would certainly come back if visiting Bethesda again!

An amazing place to stay with an even better host! The place was perfect for a weekend getaway. Everything was within walking distance. We love the attention to the small details like the umbrellas, bags for groceries and metro cards. Even though we didn’t end up needing them we appreciated the thought that went into this place and care she took for us to feel at home. Would definitely stay again!

This unit for perfect for our quick trip to DC. It was clean, easy to access and in a beautiful part of Capitol Hill neighborhood.

If I could give this stay 10 stars, I would! My spouse and I were visiting our son who lives in DC, and this was the perfect home base for our trip. The space was incredibly clean, comfortable, and very homie—it truly felt like a home away from home. The host was outstanding—warm, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. They had fresh coffee, along with homemade banana bread and a variety of snacks that were such a thoughtful touch. The location couldn’t be better—walking distance to so many great restaurants, coffee shops, and nightlife. We were able to explore the city easily and still come back to a quiet, cozy space at the end of the day. We felt truly cared for and relaxed during our stay. I can’t recommend this place enough and would absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in town!

What can I say about my stay at Villa de Bowie?! It was great! My room, let alone the whole house, was remarkable. DiMitri has been extremely hospitable and responsive. The house was clean, welcoming, and offered many amenities. The atmosphere was beautiful and the other guests, from a host of different backgrounds/careers, were respectful and pleasant. I am thankful to have been granted the opportunity to stay here and would gladly visit again; I truly recommend this home to all. Thanks again DiMitri!

Heather is the most pleasant person, and the house is just amazing. It looks like you are in a art gallery. The house is very well located, you can walk to most of the touristic sites. If I ever go back to Washington, no doubt i am gonna stay there again.

My in laws and I had a great stay at Krystof's house. It was a great location for what we needed and we loved the grocery store down the street. The house is beautiful and we enjoyed the open concept kitchen. They were great hosts and when we had questions they were quick to respond and friendly. We will absolutely plan to stay again!

The place has great views on a nice end lot property; super natural light, high ceilings with comfortable beds! Highly recommended.

This was an amazing place to stay!

The communication was great! Such an easy check in and check out! Neighborhood was quiet and close to several amenities! It was comfy and even though we weren’t there all the time it felt like home. We would definitely stay there again!!

This home is so tastefully decorated and comfortable. Even though it's an older home with original wood on floors and stairs, the wall finishes looks fairly fresh and the kitchen is all upgraded with current amenities. I was pleasantly surprised that it had a large backyard with lawn furniture, grass and trees. The sun room was so comfortable for seating and playing cards, and the office had a nice futon-type bed that folded out for extra sleeping space. The primary bedroom, walk in closet, and bath are super large and beautiful. Lots of restaurants were within a mile of the house, including a Trader Joe's. The only drawback was car sounds at night from Washington Blvd but we got used to it. During our reservation process, Aman addressed my many questions quickly and fully, particularly in terms of what they had for my 1 year old grandson (toys, high chair, port a crib). During our stay, we also communicated easily a few times as questions came up.

I will forever be grateful for the amazing weekend my wife and I spent at the Dulles Executive Resort. It was love at first sight when we checked in after an overwhelmed 5 hours red eye flight. We needed a secluded place to rest and it was far better than what we had hoped for even beyond a stretch of our imagination. Beside being conveniently located less than 10 minutes away from IAD, the DER offers so many amenities..Our host welcoming attitude left no room for reproach. Thank you Alexise for helping us check in more than 12 hours in advance. Your overall warm introductory remarks and the fact that you went beyond normalcy in order to accommodate your guests made our week end....Your unwavering commitment to excellence and definite touch of "bon chic, bon genre" is without a doubt what makes DER a beauty to behold, a place of exquisite workmanship.
