Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Navy Yard, Washington

Jennifer was awesome and her place was great. Convenient access to the free streetcar which gave us a jumping off point for all the other great stuff in DC. Would definitely stay again! Jennifer was friendly, helpful and super responsive. Could not find a better hostess anywhere.

My husband and I love this place, this is the second time that we have stayed here. Whenever we come to DC, if available, we will continue to stay at this place! Wonderful, it is a short walk to the train station, trader joes, restaurants, and the market!

We loved being able to easily walk to the Air and Space Museum and the wharf. The paid parking space was great. We had a wonderful time exploring DC from this home base.

Candice was very welcoming and responsive. She made sure we had what we needed. Cute, clean space with an amazing shower. The location is great. 0.3 miles from the nearest metro. Parks and dog parks around the neighborhood. She gave us our space to come and go freely! She has two dogs upstairs that sometimes bark, but we are dog people (and have a barky one ourselves) so it wasn’t an issue for us. She quickly tries to quiet them down, and she’s understanding if your pet barks too. Good place for dog owners!

This property was very well listed, it was very clean and exceeded expectations. Easy parking and the place feels safe and clean. The hosts are amazing and we are very thankful for their hospitality. 15/10 recommend.

This space was perfect for what I was looking for. Very easy to locate, extremely clean and the host was very responsive. Recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay. Would definitely rebook if I’m back in the area. Thank you again!

Die Unterkunft sauber und perfekt für ein Trip nach D.C. . Wer zum Audi filed Stadion möchte ist in 10minuten Autofahrt da. Adrian ist immer schnell erreichbar. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder in dieser Unterkunft übernachten.

The home was just as explained online. It was really right across the street from the Potomac metro station. If you were looking for a place, please close to Metro for one or two people. This is definitely a good location. I will stay here again.

This place was in a great location! One block from the metro and a nice bar/restaurant called Bullfeathers very close by. We would stay here again. The only addition I would ask John to consider is to add a small cutting board to the kitchen. John was a great host as he left us a wide assortment of snacks, answered our questions quickly and he left us detailed information with a map to help us even more. Thanks John we had a great time!

Loved this little apartment. So close to everything, very walkable, and loved how close the Metro was. The neighborhood was quiet and not too busy, with parks nearby, and lots of great places to grab a bite or a drink. Super comfy bed and the shower was divine. Would definitely stay again!

This stay was perfect for our 4 day trip to DC. Edith was very responsive, accommodating, and kind. The location was great for getting around to the various sites in DC and lots of restaurants within walking distance. The space was very clean and spacious and in great condition. Honestly the ideal, perfect stay for us.

We loved staying at Sweet Home City's apartment near the Capitol! It was within easy walking distance to everything. The house is located in a beautiful older very quiet neighborhood with lots of trees. There are Capitol Bikeshare bike racks available to rent bikes a couple of blocks away. We were also able to easily walk to grocery shopping at Trader Joe's, to restaurants in the neighborhood, and to the Eastern Market Metro station which is also just a few blocks away. From the Metro we traveled to the National Mall, out to Wolftrap and all over the City. We came home for lunch and a nap every day and then headed back out! Our hosts were always available to answer questions and they were very helpful with suggestions of things to do and places to dine. We would definitely come back again to this lovely quiet apartment in DC!

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights, primarily so we could see the sights in DC. The condo was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was reasonably walkable. Was easy to get in and out of DC, via rideshare, and super easy to get to and from Reagan. Highly recommend!

Hosts were very helpful and very responsive when I had questions. The place was exactly as described. We were able to walk to our destination easily. The house was very neat and clean.

Comfortable quiet condo. Across road from a playing field and walking trails. Comfortable bed, good shower, extras ( food staples, umbrella, tennis rackets etc ). Abaad very attentive, and responsive. ( watch his getting to condo video- 3rd out of 4 buildings, entrance at back ). We felt like we had a new friend in texting and speaking to him . We stayed 4 nights. Would recommend.

Celia was one of the most accommodating hosts that I have encountered. She allowed an early check-in and late checkout. She had apples, bananas and nuts for snacks in addition to coffee beans and even a couple of containers of milk, so I didn’t have to run out for coffee. The space is in a historic house in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. It was quiet and there was a nice, private porch outback, which was a great spot for reading. The neighborhood itself is lovely with well maintained yards. A Metro station is about 1/2 mile away which allows easy access to all parts of DC. We were so happy with the accommodations, so I highly recommended Celia’s place.

Very nice and quiet apartment in great Capitol Hill neighborhood. Walkable to many places including the Capitol building itself. Updated, very tasteful and clean. Enjoyed the stay, definitely would come back.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, well-designed, and very comfortable — it truly felt like a home away from home. The self check-in with a simple access code was super convenient and made everything easy from the start. The location is amazing — close to all the main tourist spots in Washington, DC. We were just minutes away from the National Mall, museums, monuments, and great places to eat. It was the perfect base for exploring the city. The host was kind, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Fast Wi-Fi, comfy beds, and a quiet, safe neighborhood made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting DC and would love to stay again!
