Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Neos Kosmos, Athens

Three of us stayed in Panna's wonderfully equipped apartment for 4 nights in June, 2025. The apartment has everything we could possibly want It's spacious, charming, and clean. The kitchen is superbly equipped with cooking equipment and serving pieces. The roof deck washing machine had laundry supplies. The 2 balconies, one with table and chairs, give views over the quiet street. Panna replied instantly to any question. We followed Panna’s printed suggestions for walks in the area and for a trip on the Tram to the beach. The Tram stops by the nearby Neos Kosmos METRO stop. The METRO stop Neos Kosmos is a short walk and is 2 stops from Acropolis and 3 from the Syntagma stop to the airport. We arrived in Athens close to midnight and took the bus to Syntagma. Uber from there was about 7Euros. For shopping there is Carrefour as well as a few other grocery stores nearby. Check in is with a lock box, so easy. This is a wonderful place with a superb host. Who could want more.

Magda’s place was spotless, lovely location very local and lots of nice bars and shops. Around a 20 minute walk to most of the popular sites. We managed to lock ourselves out and magda and her sister were very responsive and within the hour were there to get us back in! Very kind and helpful with suggestions, lots of hills in the area so beware! Really lovely home otherwise we loved it here

The host was very kind and helpful. Although the location of the house is not in the center, you can reach anywhere you want by public transportation.

Katerina’s place was very close to the park area near the acropolis as well as a few cafes slightly out of the crowded part of town. She was very responsive and was even able to let us check in early, which was a huge help. The slight problem with Wi-fi was far outweighed by her customer service. I would certainly stay with her again!

Communication was good (check-in was prompt, though needing to meet could complicate at times) - our case was fine! House was clean, spot on description-wise and offered all necessary amenities! Location is good - nothing special (that’s sth you already know when booking). The only small caveat might be a little bit of a smell (from not seeing much sun).

Roni is an amazing host. He contacted me before I arrived and gave clear instructions on how to self check in, and he didn't go to sleep before I entered. He took care of everything, was involved, and asked if anything was needed. The apartment is very clean, vast, and has everything you need. Loved it, and I will surely come back in the future! Tolis is very nice and responsive. The place is cute, clean and have everything you need for a short stay. The area are mostly residential and auto repair shops so it is quiet and safe. Just a short walk to metro & tram stations & only 2 metro stops to Acropolis & 3 metro stops to Syntagma. There are only a few restaurants/bars nearby but very close to a supermarket. Overall, it is a great place to stay.

Very clean space but most importantly the great host. Immediately resolved an issue that came up! Highly recommend!!

The big seller here is the location. A metro and tram station nearby made accessing central Athens and the beach a breeze. It was so easy to hop on the metro and be wherever you needed to be in a manner of minutes.

We stayed a month in Dimosthenis's place and it was perfect for us. A decent sized modest apartment with everything you would need for a long stay. the kitchen is pretty well equipped, the bed was very comfortable, the TV is recent and pretty big, the sofa was rather comfortable as well. No complaints and a very good price to quality ratio. The best part of this reasonably priced apartment is the fact that is it within walking distance of all major attractions of Athens. The immediate neighborhood feels local, safe, and calm. There are markets, and bakeries nearby. We did not require any assistance from the host during our stay, but communication was easy when we did exchange messages. We'd gladly stay there again if we visit Athens as we felt right at home. Thanks! Athens was incredible and this worked great as a base to explore it.

Maris is lovely and the place is exactly as advertised, with a large, lovely balcony.

We had a great stay, would recommend! The apartment was clean, cozy and as described, nice area and in walking distance to the historic city center, lots of restaurants and cafés as well as public transportation. Communication with Kleo was great, she always answered quickly and gave us great recommendations - we especially love the ice cream spot she referred us to. Thanks!

I can’t recommend Evangelos’ place enough! This was the perfect place for my husband and I on our short 3-day stay in Athens. The location was great, very walkable to many cafes and restaurants. The walk to the Acropolis was uphill so we would get a quick/cheap taxi there, and walk back to the Airbnb (~15 min walk). We felt very safe in the neighborhood, there were always people around. The hot tub was such a great place to relax after long days of walking, and the view of the Parthenon was just lovely - especially at night. Finally, Evangelos was so easy to communicate with and answered all of my questions. He also connected us with a great driver Petros, who picked us up from our cruise port and brought us to the airport. We had a fantastic stay in Athens and everything from check in to check out went very smoothly thanks to Evangelos!

Finest Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Actually, it's hard to compare with other Airbnbs because this was such a cut above. Views of the Acropolis from almost every part of the two story unit. 10 mins from the best dining and the Acropolis museum. Very private and safe even when entirely open to Athens as both floors open to the outside with extensive outdoor areas on both floors. Very, very clean, high end Euro design and top notch technology and everything easy to use. My family and I were blown away. Lastly we chose the daily breakfast delivery. Made the day start just right.

We loved the apartment, very well located and connected to different means of transportation, super spacious and impeccable, and Erik was super friendly and greeted us earlier than expected and gave us all the necessary information for our days in Athens, very attentive. Super recommended!

I can't imagine a better place to stay than this apartment in Athens! We will definitely stay again when we are in Athens. It beautifully designed, has all the amenities you need and then some and has the most beautiful balcony with a view of the Acropolis. Plus the host is so kind, helpful and responsive!! We are a family of 4 and it was perfect.

Prefect location. Walkable to all sights and attractions. Streets are busy but like any large city it is the best and easiest way to get around. The apartment was amazing. Balcony pictures on listing do not do any justice to standing outside or in jacuzzi. Tax and yannis were extremely Helpful assisting with rides to and from the port/airport as well as tons of local recommendations!

Love the airbnb. Michael is an excellent host. He was always attentive in case we needed him, which we did a couple of times to help us with directions and transit. This made us feel more comfortable. The apartment was very clean when we arrived and there was a nice basket of fruit waiting for us. The location was great, only minutes to Syngrou Fix train station. But you can walk to all main attractions in Athens from the apartment. There is a nice outdoor market to the east of the apartment about 2 blocks. Lots of places to eat and to buy necessities near by. We give top marks to this airbnb and the host Michael. We highly recommend it.

Nice, comfortable apartment for 4-6 people. Easy 15 minute walk to historic center and many restaurants. Very close to tram stop. Quiet neighborhood just 2 blocks from major hotel and main street. Lavish quickly responded to all queries before and during our trip.
