Monthly Rentals in New Berrima

A great little getaway home for a couple - close to Berrima's main street, private and beautiful surroundings.

Lyre Cottage is wonderfully located within walking distance of historic Berrima and was everything we expected or needed. The hosts have obviously invested a huge amount of time, thought and energy to ensure guests are as comfortable as possible. All evident in the nice, personal touches and very warm and friendly welcome and comprehensive communications. The cottage has all the mod-cons including a heated floor in the bathroom - a very welcome feature this last chilly week - and large-size mugs. There's a spacious yet cozy interior in which to relax for the evening, don't expect to stay awake once the fire gets going! Lyre's Cottage is the perfect getaway from which to experience Berrima and the surrounding areas, some awesome bush walks and more local attractions than can possibly be enjoyed in one trip. So close to Sydney that we'll definitely be back for more wonderful hospitality courtesy of Jen and Jacob and the multitudinous array of fresh-baked goodies from 'Baked in Berrima'!

The cottage was cosy and welcoming as per advertised. The place was easy to find and so close to local shops, restaurants & tourist gems. We so much appreciated the fireplace and how it was set up before we arrived!

Mittagong and Madeleine's place is an absolute recommendation. The airBnB is lovely, with lots of facilities (inclusive an airfryer!!). It was a bit cold, but there were lot's of heaters and blankets available (and it was winter). The AirBnB is also straight next to the start of some walking tracks that bring you to pristine spots. There are a good amount of very good restaurants in Mittagong that are within walking distance (and she made some recommendations). Madeleine is a lovely host that is very good in communication. She picked me up and dropped me off at the train station. I had a very lovely stay! Merci, Madeleine!
