we had a lovely restful stay at the cottage and would thoroughly recommend a stay here. The cottage was perfect and equipped very well. There was a large welcome hamper which was much appreciated. Rose Cottage - Pet Friendly - Log Burner - Morpeth

TracyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We absolutely loved our stay. It is such a cosy, gorgeous house! The hot tub is perfect, nice and secluded so you don't feel like you're being overlooked. The beds very comfortable and the location is brilliant, it's 10 mins into the main town and some lovely walks. I would defintely stay here again. I would say there wasn't much washing up liquid or toilet paper so I would advise bringing more of your own supplies and the garden defintely needed a good sweeping, we weren't able to use the cushions as they'd been left out in the rain. but overall a brill stay and I would definitely recommend! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Captains Nook *Hot tub*

HelenRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Beautiful place to stay. We loved the reclaimed wood & decor style & furnishings of Captain’s Nook. The hot tub in the enclosed garden was a lovely treat after our long walks. Plenty of places to eat & drink at . The Schooner has a lovely south facing beer garden. Everywhere seemed very dog friendly. We took our daughter’s 2 dogs & they loved Amble Links & Low Hauxley beaches. It was the dogs 1st trip away since being rescued 2 years ago & we would take them back. Parking wasn’t an issue & we didn’t use the car whilst we were there.

Private detached cottage, wood fired hot tub!

NoemiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had an absolute wonderful two-night stay at this cottage! It's lovely, spotlessly clean, and incredibly well-equipped with everything you could need. The welcome gifts were a delightful surprise, and the hosts were so friendly and quick to respond to all our messages. The location is perfect, just a short few minutes drive to the beach. What truly stood out was their amazing hospitality: we accidentally left something behind, and they sent it to us via next-day delivery without hesitation. We can't recommend this place enough!

Spent 3 lovely peaceful days here! The place is spotless. Easy to check in, but quite a late one for standard check in times. Even with surrounding neighbours there was minimal disturbance.

The Pear Tree Cottage

ZoeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A perfect holiday cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location. Great views from all the windows and a fantastic garden. It is very warm and welcoming, spotlessly clean, and the beds are extremely comfortable. Welcome treats were a thoughtful touch and Angela has been a great host. Exceeded our (already high) expectations -- one of the best Airbnb rentals I've stayed in!

Beautiful 5 star 2 bedroom cottage with hot tub.

LeanneRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We enjoyed a great break in Peewit Cottage, which was spotless and had everything you need. The surroundings were well looked after and amenities great. The little touches, including the welcome pack (best we’ve had and included the dog!) and Prosecco and strawberries to enjoy in the hot tub were thoughtful and lovely. All the information you need is provided prior to arrival or readily available within the cottage. We used the cottage as a base to visit local attractions, all easily accessible by car. Glen was both very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend and somewhere we would return to. Thank you, Jacqueline!

10/10 recommendations!! Stayed here for a couple nights with a group of friends. The cottage was even better in person the photos really don’t give it enough justice. views outside were beautiful. We were lucky to have the hot weather during our stay so made good use of the outdoor amenities like the hot tub and fire pit. Overall an excellent property which is excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend and I personally will be back! Massive thank you to Mark and Michelle!

BelleRose Cottage Harbour-Setting Amazing Views

KathrynRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
This house is a home from home. Everything you might need and so much you hadn’t even thought of. Carolyn is an excellent host. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Beautiful welcome basket with both necessities and treats. Sipping bubbles on the balcony watching the sunset; what more could you need. The upstairs lounge was so beautiful, with lots of restful seating, lots of tables for drinks (with enough mats too), nice reading area and a cupboard full of books if it’s wet. We were lucky with the weather, but the house would easily keep you entertained in bad weather. Nice to have fresh flowers. The house was the right temperature and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was a lovely surprise. The kitchen and bat(room cupboards have absolutely everything you’ll ever need and more. Great system for leaving all used items in one bag at check-out. Carolyn is a super efficient, super friendly host. Without doubt a fab-u-lous place to holiday. Thank you

Comfortable, clean and tidy cottage in a beautiful location. Fantastic pub on the doorstep (book in advance it’s very popular). Easy access to coast or country. On arrival we found milk in the fridge and Prosecco on the side which provided a nice touch.

The Nook, A Warm Welcome Awaits...

RachelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great time at Jane’s place in Amble. The location was good for us without a car. There are nearby supermarkets and bus stop and it’s a few minutes walk to the harbour. Warkworth and Alnmouth are in easy reach. Comfort is important to us. We liked the comfy bed / bedding / sofas / footstool / blankets and the smart tv with Netflix. There is a good shower and bath too. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a washing machine. We enjoyed sitting outside to eat in the cute little garden area. Jane was a great, responsive host! Thank you Jane, we will definitely be back!

Warkworth House Cottage

JaniceRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Warkworth was a great base for beautiful beach walks, visiting Warkworth Castle, riverside strolls. Good eateries within a few minutes. The accommodation, although overlooking the hotel parking, was quiet, clean, had a very well equipped kitchen and meant we could walk everywhere we had planned from the door.

Captain Blackwood's

KevanRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Very cosy 3- bedrooms terraced cottage tucked away in a quiet corner of the lovely seaside town of Amble. It’s less than 5 minutes walk to the seafront and 10 into the town centre which has some great cafes and restaurants. The cottage is really nicely fitted out and finished. Very clean, neat and tidy. Very comfortable. We liked the booklets giving lots of details of surrounding attractions. Parking is a very short distance away, 100 metres maybe.

I had a lovely stay in Matthew’s cottage. Really comfortable, quiet and squeaky clean! Nice outdoor space too. Great location! The beautiful harbour, shops, fresh fish, restaurants and boat trips for the puffins with a few minutes walk from the cottage. Plus easy to navigate to other places for hiking and exploring.

Seahorse Cottage - Newbiggin by the Sea

SusanRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Beautiful cottage. Very well equipped - all you could ask for and more. Spotlessly clean and spacious. A bathroom to die for. A wee bit more expensive than some but worth every penny. Situated in centre of village so was handy for everything and only a stones throw from the beach. Lovely to have milk and biscuits to welcome us and a friendly greeting on a blackboard 😀 Plenty free parking available beside the cottage. Host, Lorna, very prompt at replying and sharing useful information. I would certainly recommend this stay.

Beautiful property in a stunning seafront location. The cottage had all the amenities we needed with a wonderful view of the sea. Nigel and Jane were very welcoming and recommended a bistro in Amble, Jaspers which was one of the best meals we have had in a long time.

This was our second visit to Sarah’s place and it was equally as wonderful as the first. The accommodation was immaculately clean and provided everything needed for an extremely comfortable stay. Sarah’s place is an ideal base to explore this area of Northumberland and Sarah provided an extensive information guide of places to visit and dining suggestions throughout the local area. We cannot recommend more highly and definitely hope to return in the future.

9 Hill St - a hideaway in the heart of Corbridge

MarkRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A lovely house in a great spot. Corbridge was an ideal base for us with easy access to Newcastle and great walks from the door. The house was very well equipped and having a choice of bathrooms was a luxury. The Coop was very handy and for treats we found the Larder and Grant’s excellent.

Dream Country Cottage

AngelRating, 5 stars6 days ago
A lovely cosy cottage & peaceful countryside location. Super comfy king size bed, all cookware/appliances you could need & we especially loved being able to walk around the beautiful 17th century stately home gardens that are open to the guests. Michael was a great host and we really appreciated the welcome pack of milk, bread, tea & coffee pods for the machine. Great location as well - it’s just a 15 minute drive to Hexham and Corbridge for shops, restaurants & pubs. Close to lots of other attractions too like Hadrians wall, Cragside & Wallington hall. We would highly recommend!
