Located a few hundred feet from the Iris gardens at Horton farm, a six acre garden space with over 1400 Iris varieties. Bloom season is April and May. The cottage was built in 1945 on my family's heritage farm. She's located next to the old barn alongside a small Creek. Inside you'll find a fresh colorful landscape of hand made cabinets, concrete countertops and furniture. The heated and Polished concrete floor is ready for farm life. You'll be delighted in the vintage items and local artwork.

It is conveniently located right off of highway 80 and is walkable to Newcastle’s cute downtown area including a really great Italian restaurant, an awesome pizza place, a wine shop and more. It is two levels, the top level is spacious and open with two bedrooms and the bottom(handicap accessible) level is it’s own one bedroom apartment with a secondary kitchen and an extra hide-a-bed in the living area offering room for everyone

We are ten minutes drive from the American River, a half hour from Lakes Folsom or Clementine, and an hour and 1/2 from Lake Tahoe. We are dog friendly, and hope you love our home as much as we do.
