Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Newcastle

I love Maine's working waterfront and even though my stay was in the off season there was a wonderful glimpse into our fishing economy and the hard work it takes to keep it happening. The quality of light in the unit was amazing, and viewing the moon across the water was stunning. Easy to access all that the midcoast has to offer within an easy ride, to Rockland and Damariscotta and Boothbay and Wiscasset -- my favorite spots. Beautiful places nearby to hike and explore. Onsite staff people Debbie and Blair were wonderful; when I had an issue with the internet -- it was fixed quickly. Unit was well equipped for a person who loves to cook. Also having a bathtub in a waterfront apartment was a plus since many don't have them. Clean, comfortable, safe-feeling -- all one could want in a Maine coastal vacation. Wish I could have stayed longer but instead I'll just plan to go back again.

You know it’s a lovely space when we come multiple years to stay! Amy is the nicest- a fantastic host with great recommendations for the area. The apartment is clean and spacious and full of rustic charm. Our kids adored the ducks they have on the property and the yard is wonderfully inviting! Can’t wait to come back next year 😃

Nice place with a great location. It’s a quick walk to downtown Hallowell. Downtown has coffee shops,bakeries and restaurants. Good access to the rail trail for a nice walk along the river.

We had a great time here, beautiful place, well-equipped. Very clean and comfortable, I loved the plants both inside and out. Hot water came up quickly, didn't run out, and the shower was strong. Used the kitchen for breakfasts and some dinners - had a tea kettle, coffee pot, and pans/knives/cutting boards - all the comforts of home. Central location, and the loaner State Park pass was great! One day we visited Portland and Two Lights State Park to the south, another we went to Georgetown and Reid State Park to the north. Walking distance to restaurants in pretty downtown Bath, and the neighborhood was quiet. There's a thorough guest book with recommendations and ideas of things to do, and Erika was quick to respond when I asked for a good place to buy oysters/seafood. Pretty yard, even in Oct some plants blooming. I enjoyed sitting on the deck to read in the sunshine. We hope to come back here to stay, very happy with the experience - comfortable and homey.

In short, a unique experience where we met a few extremely friendly people. The property has amazing views of the harbor without noisy working boats. We would out this at the top of our rental experiences.

The place was amazing, such a great find! The hosts laid out check-in and check-out instructions very clearly and offered an abundance of amenities to make our stay more enjoyable. They offered toiletries, tide pods, cooking spices, coffee, books- the list could really go on and on. It really felt like a home away from home! Thank you to our wonderful hosts, we hope to visit again!!

We felt right at home in this beautiful setting It was peaceful to be in a quiet, secluded home, yet we had only a short drive to stores, restaurants, and various attractions. The host was attentive in making us feel welcome and comfortable. The home was well-maintained and nicely decorated. You will love this home!

George's home is my favorite property to stay at when I travel to Midcoast Maine. It is so beautiful, clean, roomy and centrally located to all points of interest. The property itself beautifully landscaped as well. There is a private outdoor sitting area to listen to the birds and soak in the sun. I wouldn't hesitate to book a stay here!

Enjoyed our stay very much! Lovely location on the water. Some white traffic noise but worth it watching the boats and wildlife! Comfy bed. We slept very well. Well-stocked kitchen. The location is perfect for lots of little day trips. Our only disappointment was the size of the smallest room. It’s very tiny. Great for a child but pretty tight for our adult son. Host was attentive. We will be back!

Great location on Back River. short drive to wiscasset and groceries. Fun to sit and watch the tides.

Wow. What a beautiful cottage on a beautiful bay in a beautiful state. Wonderful host and super convenient to northern and southern spots of Maine to visit. Everyone is nice and kind in Round Pond.

The hosts were very prompt in communicating. The thoughtfulness they have put into furnishing the property is amazing. It has a very vintage nautical feeling to it. The house is extremely well appointed. We didn’t have any problems at all. The surroundings are off the beaten path which we especially appreciated. It’s a short 10 minute drive to Damariscotta Downtown. I would highly recommend this property.

This was my 5th time going there and I love it! The house is so cozy & very clean. The property is large and the view is breathtaking over looking the river. They are also pet friendly so we were able to take our Lhasa Apso Revy on vacation with us. Besides how great this Air BnB is, my favorite is the hosts Kent & Tish! They are wonderful people. They are kind & friendly, & have such beautiful souls. They have become family to me! I highly recommend getting this air bnb!! Thank you again Tish & Kent! Amazing view and location! We loved how convenient this location was to shopping and restaurants. Having never been to Portland, this was a very pleasant surprise for us. Parking in the lot directly next to the building was easy and close. Sitting on the balcony watching the boats was so relaxing. Very comfortable condo and we would definitely stay again.

This place is gorgeous and right on the ocean!!

Perfect location right in the middle of all the popular restaurants and shops. Very clean and more spacious than we expected. Complex was quite inside. We didn’t hear noise from the other condos. We were there on a Saturday night so we could hear some of the nearby bars and music but that was to be expected given the location.

Great stay

Beautiful, spacious and bright house, with everything you need to be comfortable and explore Portland. At one point we had a problem with the fire alarm and Allyson not only answered in minutes, but also told us how to fix the problem and left us extra batteries so it wouldn't happen again. Don't hesitate to stay at Allyson's, not only is it the ideal accommodation for a family, but Allyson was the best host. Thank you very much!

We had a great stay at Tysons place. Its a perfect location, only like 5-10 minutes drive from Old Port. The home is clean and beautiful. Street parking was super easy. Always space right on the side of the home. Each room has its own A/C. Would definitely recommend staying at Tysons place!

Extremely clean and great location. It is located on second floor. If you have trouble with stairs, there is no elevator. Host provided clear instructions on check in and check out. She doesn’t require us to take out the garbage! !! She quickly responded to our questions and provided a great tourist book. Shower is amazing…I won’t spoil the surprise so book if you can!

Great location! This condo was so close to everything it made getting around without a car super easy! Laundry is a great perk for longer stays!
