Holiday rentals with lake access in Newfoundland

The home and location was lovely. There were a few things that needed to be attended to. Broken deck board, broken Muskoka chair (that I sat in) unknowingly. The bunk beds were broken and dismantled, with urine stains on the mattress. The pull out couch was broken which meant 2 adults had to find alternative sleeping arrangements (the floor). Once these area are attended to there would be absolutely no issues. We enjoyed our stay and appreciate how much the owners attended to our needs expeditiously.

Wonderful stay. The Airbnb was clean, affordable, and super close to the beach.

This was a wonderful place to stay. This is what I think of when I rent an Airbnb but way more. They place was cozy, clean, modern, and it also had everything you needed. Lots of kitchen wares to make any meal, lots of towels, blankets, pillows, and we were greeted with some essential food in the fridge and even chocolates, granola bars and candies. What a treat! There are chairs at the water to sit and relax, there is a nice outside deck to have your meals, a nice fireplace and the house is a lovely lay out with fun, colourful and joyful decorations. It was also nice to be only an hour from Twillingate, but to stay in a more quite and private place. The host was so great at communication and has made a lovely place to really enjoy your vacation.

We felt like we moved into a beach house for the weekend! There was nothing missing and everything was available to make us feel at home from tea bags and hot chocolate, to big beach towels for the hot tub, to a hammock swing by the pond, to door to a private area on the deck from the master bedroom... it was incredible. The size of the land alone was worth every cent we paid, let alone amenities provided, service/communication provided, and the beautifully decorated and cozy beach house vibe. The host, Jeremy, is very clear with instructions, responsive, and helpful. He gives his guests a short (2 page) House Manual that have answers to pretty much every question we had. What wasn't provided, we asked Jeremy and he responded in a timely and polite manner, solving any "issue" (no issues, just cannot think of another word.)

Best place in the Bellevue area hands down! Check out the Chance Cove hiking trail a few kms away. Beautiful surroundings! Lots of extras too that’s you never expect in a typical air bnb! If you’re the outdoors type or just the sit and chill type this place is for you. The coolest part of the stay had to be the unique fire pit, and other custom made things around the property Jindra’s husband made. And the art Jindra made, I took pictures of it all for inspiration and making some art myself!

Another 5⭐️ stay! Karen is always very accommodating. It’s our go-to place to stay whenever we are in central. Thanks again Karen!

The Bungalow in Little Rapids was exceptionally charming and very spacious. Nestled in to a rustic but very accessible spot on a waterfront, it has very serene view of Deer Lake. We were very pleased with the furnishings and how everything of importance was tastefully labeled. Alex/Paul were more than accommodating and very prompt with responses to any questions we had. Would very much recommend this stay to anyone who travels to Newfoundland. Gros Morne is a must with spectacular views of the mountains and to experience the beauty this province has to offer.

Mark's place was very clean and comfortable. The home had everything we needed for a one night stay. Mark was easy to communicate with and provided clear check in instructions.

We stayed here last year and it was so nice that we had to come back. This stay was just as relaxing as the first.

Shawn and Francine offer a spacious, clean and well equipped apartment in an older private house at a prime location, downtown St. John’s. A private parking spot is also provided. Various sightseeing sites, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. are mostly located within walking distance, typically 10-30 min, which was incredibly convenient. Shawn and Francine are very caring, responsive and helpful hosts. We would definitely be very happy to stay at their St. John’s apartment again.

It was great stay with great views of ocean. The hospitality was superb with the hostess picking us up from the ferry and offering to drive us back and forth from the town center. The place is a 2 km walk from town which was a good exercise. We enjoyed our stay in St. Pierre!

The rooms were perfect for us. It was one of our best vacations yet. The wonderful people, cultural events, amazing vistas, wildlife, icebergs and Canadian history were fascinating. The cozy atmosphere and ease of staying in a basement suite made us feel right at home😍

Unser Aufenthalt bei Beckie war toll. Wir hatten selten bei all unseren Reisen eine so kommunikative, sich kümmernde und herzliche Gastgeberin! Nach einem langen Flug und einer sehr späten Ankunft hatte sie uns Frühstück in den Kühlschrank gestellt und uns vor und während des Aufenthalts mit wichtigen Infos versorgt. Die Wohnung ist nur 10 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt, gut geeignet fürs Ankommen oder Abfliegen. Das Bett ist komfortabel, die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Es fehlt an nichts. Die Wohnung insgesamt ist eine Perle. Ich kann sie nur empfehlen!

Andreas spot is just what we needed after a long day of driving and walking around the area. Will stay there again

Staying at Paul's was the most amazing thing for my whole trip. Playing some pool, having BBQ hanging out with friends and relaxing in a room with wonderful view recharged us from exhausting weekdays. Paul is really kind introducing his house and closing landscapes. We had a great time there!

From the time I saw the house to when I walked in the door I knew I was home. Very comfortable and great information about the surrounding area. It was a pity we did not have longer to stay as it was a very relaxing quiet place. I will be sure to recommend Andrea and Colins place to anyone who is planning on coming out for a visit.

We loved it and can’t wait to come back and enjoy the fall colours. If you’re looking for a true cabin experience with all the amenities, this is for you!

6 of us sisters and sister in laws , we couldnt have asked for a nicer place to stay. Everything was as decribed. We will be coming back and next time it will be a longer stay. Can’t wait.😊❤️

We were amazed from the minute we drove in. The location is so secluded and peaceful and the cottage was so comfortable and well stocked. We had a fabulous stay and it was so close to Gros Morne park. A little piece of paradise! My father-in-law was impressed with the fresh bread waiting on the counter, and spent both evenings listening to the birds and drinking coffee. It was a great first stop along our travels and we hope to be back again someday! Thank you for a fantastic stay

Sheilas Willow Cottage is everything you expect. Peace & relaxation. Its super clean, beautifully laid out & the view is outstanding. This is our second time here and it never disappoints. Some of our family staying with us went above & beyond and booked it again later this year with some of their friends. Amazing!

Our stay at the Hidden Cove exceeded all expectations! The photos don’t even do this place justice on just how beautiful and peaceful it truly is. Roger has every thing you could possibly think of and more in his place! You immediately feel right at home as soon as you walk through the front door. This will easily be the most memorable birthday weekend yet! We will certainly be back! Can’t recommend this place enough!

We loved our stay at the cottage the house has soo much personality and very private.We enjoyed the hot tub and cozy fire pit with the family. Our favorite was the games room and all the different board games there. Lisa was very communicative and responsive as a host. Highly recommend
