Lake house holiday rentals in Niagara-on-the-Lake

Excellent home right on the Niagara River and within walking distance to restaurants. The houswas clean, cozy and very comfortable and so much better then staying at a hotel. The host was very responsive. Would highly recommend this for anyone visiting the Lewiston or Niagara area.

Let me just say that this Airbnb will be hands-down the most beautiful Airbnb I will probably ever stay at. This place is honestly my dream home by the water. It was GORGEOUS, inside and out. We used this Airbnb as the hangout spot for the bridal party of my wedding weekend, including getting ready for the wedding there. The natural lighting and space was perfect for the makeup artist. In the early morning and evening, sitting by the water on the deck was so peaceful even during a hectic time. Morning of the wedding, I sat outside by myself for some quiet alone time and just started bawling from how beautiful the weather was and how amazing it was to be by the relaxing water. Victoria (the property manager) was incredibly helpful in preparing everyone, including moving up check-in time to allow for more time getting ready before the rehearsal dinner. 10/10 would recommend. If you’re on the fence, just do it. It’s so worth it.

What a fabulous house! I'd love to stay again and if definitely recommend it to family and friends. The kitchen was well-stocked and there were many beautiful spaces to gather. The towels were the softest I'd ever had at an Airbnb and the water pressure was good. It was nice to be nearby things to do (and in a good delivery zone), but in a quiet, peaceful place. It looked like a magazine, but felt comfortable to actually live in and cook in.

Beautiful place to stay! We would stay here again. The place was clean enough - but could use a deep cleaning - inside and out. The rocky beach area is so so nice. Honestly was even better than we anticipated! The outside area could use a good sweep/cleaning, but it was beautiful. They keep their grass on the tall side - not unkept just a bit tall. With being waterfront, there are a lot of bugs. Outside of course, and many do make their way inside. We expected a bit buggy based on other reviews, so it wasn’t a surprise to us. The house is well decorated and perfectly situated for a relaxing stay. The dining windows overlook the water - so beautiful! We came with someone who just had a knee injury and was in an immobilizer. The house worked well for her with her injuries. There are no additional pillows than the number for the sleepers. (Like a king sized bed has two pillows & no additional). You may want to bring spares if you like two pillows. Great experience!

We had a fantastic stay! The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth and stress-free. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed, and in a quiet, safe area. We had a very nice stay at the lakeside farmhouse. The house is a quirky older building but very charming, homey, and peaceful. The kitchen is a little lean for cooking supplies but we were able to make it work. Beds are on the firm side. Great location for visiting local wineries and bringing a bottle back for board games at the big table in the sunroom, walking down to the water, or making a campfire. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would book here again!

Absolutely amazing location on the lake, beautiful views and sunsets and a perfect layout for a comfortable get away. 10/10 recommend this location for your visit to the great lakes/niagara falls area!

We really enjoyed staying at Alissa's place. The house is beautifully remodeled with all new appliances, beautiful bathrooms, spacious living room and dining areas. kitchen had good cookware and was staffed with most necessities. We are two moms sho were traveling with 4 kids 8-12 years old. There was plenty of room for all of us to fit in. Kids especially enjoyed the family room in the basement with games. I wish we were staying longer to enjoy the beautiful private backyard with cozy gazebo. This was a perfect place to stay at for a trip to Niagra Falls. It is about 25-30 min drive but fairly easy commute. Kids absolutely loved the beach which is only 5 min walk from the property. A complimentary bottle of local wine from the host was a very nice touch! Thank you for sharing your place. We had such a great tine!

We loved our stay at Morgan’s house. The location is perfect 20 mins drive to the falls 20 mins drive to the wineries, not to mention you can walk to the downtown area which we loved, many cafes and great restaurants. The house has everything you’ll need for a confortable stay. Morgan was also super fast responding to our messages. Overall 5 stars stay! Thank you Morgan!

Eric's house was wonderful! Very clean and a convenient location in the town where we could walk everywhere. Our whole family enjoyed relaxing at the house, especially in the spacious backyard. Eric was a great host - very responsive to any questions we had, gave very clear check in instructions, and even gave recommendations on local places for us to check out. We would love to come back to NOTL and stay there again!

Our family took our first family vacation. We had a group of nine adults. The house was big enough to fit all of us comfortably but also able to give us privacy if we needed it. Every night we gathered around the large table for dinner and game night. We felt right at home and are looking forward to doing it again. We were able to walk to a local park to watch the Niagara Falls fireworks and the boys loved the Tim Hortons right across the street from the house. Rainbow was easy to get ahold of and provided excellent communication. Her home was clean and beautifully decorated. She is a great host! We will totally stay at this location again.

This home was exactly as described. Very spacious and clean with lots of extras, including coffee, linens and towels, washer and dryer, shampoo and conditioner and body wash. It was a perfect place to house 3 families while we were in town for a soccer tournament. Beautiful surrounding neighborhood and close to many restaurants and grocery stores. Marsha was a great communicator and super helpful when I needed her. Would stay again!

We had a pleasant stay here. Very close driving proximity to Niagara Falls and the border at Rainbow Bridge without the hub-bub of downtown. The playroom was a big hit with our children, and the 3 king beds were great. Host was responsive and helpful. Neighborhood felt quiet and safe.

Wonderful property and EXTREMELY responsive host. Made this trip fun and memorable. Fantastic location near lots of cafes, restaurants and a small beach.

This was a beautiful and very nicely decorated place to stay. It is a short walk down to the water but accessing the beach is difficult due the high rock wall that was built along the shoreline. Very peaceful and quiet area. Be sure to push the check mark after the number code to get into the house. It took us a few minutes to figure it out. Be aware that the bathroom on the second floor is in the master bedroom and cannot be accessed by the other bedroom. They need to use the full bath downstairs that is off the kitchen. Also, the master bedroom has a king bed and the other bedroom has a full bed, not two queens as described. Bring a blow dryer, we could not find one. The main stairway to go upstairs branches off to two small stairways (3-4 steps) that go to each bedroom. All in all it is a nice place and great location. Recommend going to Lewiston to eat. It’s a great little town to walk around. Recommend Apple Grannies, Griffins and Casa Antica to eat (many gluten free options).
