Our house is located in a purely residential area, surrounded by vineyards away from the main road. Hackenheim is known for its many wine taverns and exquisite wines. In addition to the spa town of Bad Kreuznach (3 km), there are many excursion destinations, including the Romantic Rhine (20 km) and the Saline Valley. Hiking and biking trails also attract visitors.

The former servants' quarters of the original farmhouse was lovingly converted by us into a spacious attic apartment. The apartment, which has been extended into the gable, exudes a very special charm. In the 75 m² apartment there is a double bedroom and baby bed and a large living room with open, fully equipped kitchen. The modern bathroom has a walk-in shower with wall heating.

This stylish, newly renovated historic quarry stone house from 1833 in Rhinehessian Switzerland is suitable for families, hikers, cyclists and especially for dog lovers. The courtyard/forest-like garden, which is over 600 square meters, is completely fenced. The Appelbach flows right through the middle of the small village. Dogs also like to use it for bathing.
