The cottage is suitable for athletes - cycling, hiking, boating, for families with children, and for those looking for a quiet holiday in southern Bohemia. In 2015, a complete renovation took place, the house is fully equipped with brand new furniture. It comfortably accommodates 8 adults, in the case of small children it is possible to increase the capacity. By agreement, a guided tour of the game preserve, which is located in close proximity to the cottage, is possible.

Welcome to Rodlhaus GruBÄR! The wood-burning stove in the living and dining area provides cozy warmth. The very well equipped kitchen invites you to cook. From the balcony you can look into the nature reserve and have direct access to the large toboggan. On the top floor you will find cozy sleeping places. The holiday flat in Landhaus Ameisberg in Mitternschlag has a wonderful view of the mountains. Our apartment is located in the beautiful village of Niederkappel, up in the heights of the Mühlviertel right behind the Danube Valley between Passau and Linz. Important information for bikers traveling on the Danube cycle path: From the Danube banks (Obermühl) it's a 3km steep, exhausting climb up to Niederkappel. If you are fit enough for that, you are very welcome to stay at our place. The views down onto the Danube will compensate for the efforts.
