Neben dem Wohnhaus (40m entf.)befindet sich das moderne Badehaus zur ausschließlichen Nutzung unserer Gäste. In unserem Haus wird viel gelesen, philosophiert, guter Wein getrunken und sich um das Wesentliche im Leben gekümmert, Reduktion pur! Abenteuer statt Luxus.

The spacious 80 m² apartment with 2 to 7 beds in our lovingly renovated half-timbered house above the rooftops of Ziegenhagen invites you to linger and relax. On the balcony, you can enjoy wonderful views over the forests. The imposing half-timbered house accommodates 12 nice people in 3 generations for many good conversations. Likewise, my catering, from which you can also have a delicious meal from time to time. In our foyer there is a library for lounging on cozy sofas.

Our quietly located accommodation in the basement with approx. 25 m² is equipped with modern furniture and a kitchen. A covered seating area with a grill is right in front of it. You can access the property through a separate entrance door. Nieste is a small community that invites you to relax with its diverse hiking trails (premium trails) and mountain bike trails. Hiking trails are within a 2-minute walking distance. Kassel city center can be reached in just 15 minutes.

Ankommen und wohlfühlen.....wir würden uns freuen, Dich in unserer 85m² großen und hellen Ferienwohnung im Obergeschoss unseres Hauses, als unseren Gast begrüßen zu dürfen. Direkt am Kaufunger Wald gelegen und mit einer sehr guten Anbindung zur Dokumentastadt Kassel erreichst Du von hier alle Wander- und Radwege rund um Kaufungen und seiner Region. Am Abend kannst Du auf dem Balkon den herrlichen Sonnenuntergang mit einem fantastischen Ausblick in die Natur genießen.

Stylish historic half-timbered courtyard, combined with modern interior design and the latest technology. Hiking riders are welcome. The landscape invites you to hike (Kaufunger Forest, Münden Nature Park), cycle, but also to visit Kassel or Göttingen (e.g. World Heritage Site Kassel Bergpark). Both cities can be reached in a 30-minute drive. Bikers are also welcome. There is ample space for horses or motorcycles/bicycles.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

The large country-style apartment on two floors is equipped with many amenities, suitable for relaxing on the large loggia on the upper floor or the covered veranda in the entrance area. But also hikes in the beautiful Hessian mountains, bike tours or boat tours on the Fulda are worthwhile.
