Op loopafstand vindt u vele restaurants, boulevard met strand en haven, een gezellig stadscentrum met winkels en horeca. Het Dolfinarium is op loopafstand. Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

Geniet lekker van de jacuzzi en sauna op de veranda. Er is een gas bbq aanwezig en een heerlijke buitenhaard. ( BBQ en buitenhaard tegen betaling ) De bakker met verse broodjes is op loopafstand. Kasteel Sypesteyn ligt aan de overkant van de weg. Amsterdam en Utrecht +/-20 min.

Our beautiful windmill was built on the remains of a medieval castle in 1873. In 2006 the mill was fully renovated. You will have a comfortable stay in the mill which is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Maurik is a charming village, very centrally located between larger cities like Utrecht, Den Bosch, Arnhem and Nijmegen. The area is very suitable for cycling, hiking and swimming.
