I would very highly recommend Oki's property to any prospective guest. I told him when we were checking out, he is the kind of host that has carefully thought out each possible thing you may need during your stay. This is another level of attention to detail that does not go unnoticed and really separates a good host from great. Oki was also incredibly responsive and one of the friendliest hosts we have come across. His little courteous and considerate offerings during our stay was so appreciated. We rented three units off of Oki and each were immaculately clean and well explained at checkin. We were very comfortable and would not hesitate to stay again on our next visit. The accommodation was clean and nice But it smelled like cigarettes, but it was okay because I turned the air conditioner around.

Great house very close to the subway!Life is also very convenient, and often go to buy discounted sushi and beef!The transportation is convenient and quiet. The room is clean and bright, and the facilities are fully equipped including a washing machine and kitchen supplies.The host also prepared an umbrella, which is very convenient for getting around on rainy days.I plan to stay here again next time in Tokyo!

I really enjoyed my stay at Hajime’s place! Great location and a great person that communicates with you. There was just some trash still left in the room. Other than that, an amazing place to stay in!

Great value. It was nice to be a little out of the main tourist areas, but still have easy access to restaurants and train stations. The bed was comfy and the room was well-equipped.

My wife and I have been trying to get a chance to visit Japan for the last ten years, and when we finally got the ability to, Asama helped us start off the trip wonderfully. Her house was comfortable and easy to find, and was very homey stay in. She offered home cooked meals for breakfast, which were absolutely fantastic. We got to sit and chat with her many times and shared stories about where we were from and our travels. She recommended many places for us to go locally, which was very helpful. Overall, Asama was a wonderful hostess and was absolutely one of the best parts of our trip so far. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone visiting the area to stay. 10/10.

Had a great time staying at ikebukuro at Mai's place – the bed was so comfy and we loved the area around as there were many eateries to try out new bites so defo a plus point if you're a foodie! It's around 10 minutes on foot from animate and lashinbang (just across an underground bridge) if you're an anime girly looking for a more female-focused anime goods! The building had an extra security door, which gives us a peace of mind even when we went back super late at night!

A place was impressively clean, cozy, private and good vibe. the location of this place is near Kanamecho Station far from Ikebukuro sta. for 10 more minutes. Unfortunately the Kanamecho sta. has no exit elevator so that is quite unsatisfy for guest with the big luggage s. but overall this airbnb is a great place to stay.

Good place to stay at near the station and near a Lawson and some bakery’s as well enjoyed the stay .

Very beautiful house. We were 9 of us but this house can accommodate more than 12-13 guests. It has two separate showers and toilets which makes it easy for everyone to get ready. It also have washer and dryer, but it’s in Japanese, so it was little hard for us to understand. The only drawback of this house is they don’t allow late luggage check out or early luggage check in, which made us hard as our flight was in the night. Rest of the experience was great! They responded to us very quickly for whatever we had asked for.

We really enjoyed our stay in Cask Village. The room was beautiful, and it was nice to have a kitchen and a washing machine. The showers were very big as well. The neighbourhood is very cosy and away from the hustle and bustle from Tokyo, very peaceful! There were 2 stations nearby, which brought us to most neighbourhoods in around 30 minutes. The host received my lost luggage when it arrived (when we weren’t at the hotel) and sent us a message to ask us where to put it. Very grateful for that :) I would recommend Cask Village to anyone who wants to experience a beautiful room, close to Tokyo and in a peaceful neighbourhood.

A decent room at a decent price. You can get to Ikebukuro Station in 10 minutes, and Ikebukuro Station itself is a transportation hub, so it's not inconvenient when you go anywhere.

The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood with a short walking distance to Ikebukuro. There’re many restaurants, stores and 7/11’s around, so you’ll never have problems with groceries or late night snacks. Bus and train stations are also quite close, so getting home after a long day on your feet won’t be a hassle. The place itself is cozy, clean and has everything you might need. We stayed for almost a week and were completely satisfied. Also, don’t let the trains running in front of the apartment scare you away. Although it does make some noise, it also gave us very unique videos and photos! The host was great and responsive!

The location is at the west exit of Ikebukuro, a 5-minute walk from the subway station. It is very convenient to take the Yamanote Line. The transportation is very convenient, but the check-in process is a bit complicated. It was raining heavily when I stayed, which made it a bit messy. In addition, the room size is quite large for a place near the subway station. Hotels of the same price are only 12 square meters, and this place has a kitchen, washing machine, bathroom, bathtub, shower area, and well-planned storage space. The toilet is a smart toilet, the TV is movable, you can put it anywhere you want, there is also an HDMI port, you can bring your own device to watch what you want, because it can't use YouTube and Netflix, the only shortcoming is that there are stains on the sofa, long hair on the floor and bed, but not much, it may be left by the cleaning staff while working, overall I like it here, I will come again if I have the chance.

Staying at this hidden gem was an absolute treat. Pati, our wonderful host, made our first trip to Japan unforgettable by offering amazing recommendations for food, shopping, and travel. After much research on where to stay, discovering Koenji and Pati's place felt like finding gold at the end of the rainbow. The location was perfect for us, as we love to walk—stations were easily accessible by foot, and the Koenji shops were just a short stroll away. The space itself was perfect—spacious, full of natural light, with a lovely little balcony. The large dining table and open layout made it feel like a true home away from home. We stayed for 8 nights and it was ideal for a longer stay. Despite the cold weather and snow on the first night, the heating kept us warm and cozy. Hot tip: definitely rent a bike to explore Koenji and Tokyo—it’s a fantastic way to get around. Thank you again, Pati, for your kindness and hospitality. We can’t wait to return to our new favorite place in Tokyo! :)

The host was very responsive to messages and was very easy to get ahold of. She made us feel like we were family coming to visit. The instructions were clear and everything went smoothly. The room was very clean and well stocked/organized. Although it isn't a super luxury room, it is great for those whom are out all day and wanting to come back to rest before heading out the next day. Around the Airbnb are lots of places to eat and there are convenience stores nearby. The subway station entrance is VERY close by so the added convenience adds more to the value. Our party consisted of 4 adults and 2 kids, and everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend this airbnb for its value and convenience.

This place was great for us for a couple of nights. The air conditioner was amazing after a long day walking through Tokyo. The host was so nice and easy to talk to. Loved it!

Such a great find! The flat is stunning and looks exactly as described, spacious and very nicely designed and decorated. The area is also very vibrant, loads of restaurant and the host kindly provide a long list of places to go

Loved staying here! The beds were very comfy, and the room had all the essentials you could ever need! Mr.Masakatsu was incredibly friendly and welcoming, he carried my stuff to my room and showed me all the amenities of my room. The room itself is a 6 min walk to the train station which is super nice! I would love to be able to come back here on my next trip!

Kota and Shunki’s apartment was very clean and cozy. Nice and quiet at night despite easy access to Shin Okubo station. I enjoyed my stay and would come again.

The location was very good, in a quiet area despite the train passing by (but which stops at midnight). The apartment is like new, very clean. We asked for extra towels and the owner was very responsive, we had them during the day. I could book this apartment again on a future trip.
