You can see the sea to the east, so you can sometimes see the moonrise. The starry sky is also very beautiful. Anbo town is a 10-minute drive, convenient for shopping and eating. The popular Jomon Sugi mountain climbing bus stop is a 15-minute drive away. If you're having trouble finding a rental car, you can car share the owner's car (using the Carstay app). It is a light vehicle with a capacity of 4 people and it is a cargo car, so the ride comfort is not the best, but it is a 4WD with plenty of luggage space. Fisherman's living experience inn: Fuku no Ki

Yakushima is famous for mountains, but the sea, fish are also attractive. This inn is a bit inconvenient, but we treat you like family. And you can eat delicious fresh fish. The building is a converted fisherman's barn. We will cook fish together, heat Goemon bath with firewood, and provide you with a stay as if you were living with us. One cooking experience is included during your stay. On other days, you will stay without meals. Optional fishing boat tour (extra charge) is also available.

We chose our accommodation's location carefully to make it as convenient as possible. Yakushima is quite remote and doesn't have many transportation options. Yakushima is relatively large, covering about 100 kilometers. There are restaurants and supermarkets scattered around, but it can be challenging to find rental cars or taxis. →You can walk to popular restaurants in just 3 minutes, so you can have a great meal and easily return. Additionally, a supermarket is only a 7-minute walk away.

However, no kitchen facility. Cottage is made in Japanese style with aromatic local cedar wood , open beams, and Shoji screens.

Full kitchen and clothes washing and drying machine. ホリデーハウス永田は屋久島の西部に位置し、海亀産卵日本一のいなか浜に近く、家からは前浜に歩いて行けます。ビーチから眺めるサンセットは美しく、横河渓谷や屋久島灯台、西武林道が近くにあります。登山口からは離れていますので、レンタカーを借りる事を強くお勧めします。縄文杉登山だけに来られる方は永田は遠いですので、地図を見てご検討下さい。2021年5月〜7月の海亀観察会はコロナの影響により中止となっています。夜8時以降は浜に降りられませんのでご注意ください。早朝5時に浜に行くと海亀と会える可能性があるのでお勧めです。
