We really enjoyed our stay at Noriko's place, the house was beautiful, spectacular views, perfect location. It was peaceful, well equipped and exactly how it weas described on the website, would not hesitate in recommending this home anyone wanting a peaceful stay in a great location and beautiful home. Hope to get back there again some day, thanks Noriko!

Kamogawa Bento-an Stay One Rank Up

Loved this beautiful and elegantly appointed house. Small zen gardens outside the large windows. We were only disappointed in the combination washer/dryer because of long cycles and the door stays locked for a long time to cool down. Keeping loads small works best. Even then be careful to allow plenty of time. Conveniently located to train and bus transit with many small stores close-by. In a clean small side street , so quiet and private, but near a major street and the river with great paved trails.

Beautifully decorated home. Everything we needed was within walkable distance. Was also close to the station, and bus stops. Host was very communicative!

I don’t even know where to begin, my stay at Arubaya was truly something special. Hana is one of the sweetest, warmest, funniest, and most thoughtful people I’ve ever met. From the moment I arrived (very late and very flustered), she welcomed me like I was one of her own grandchildren visiting for vacation. Her husband, although more on the quiet side, gave total “sweet grandpa” energy calm, gentle, and always caring. Together, they made me feel safe, cared for, and completely at home. Hana and her husband genuinely care about their guests and take such amazing care of their home. I loved our evening chats, the laughter, and the quiet little moments. I truly wish I could’ve stayed longer. Leaving was hard. But one thing’s for sure: if (or rather, when) I come back to Japan, I’m coming straight back to Arubaya to see Hana, Gigi (that’s what Hana called her honey lol!), and that magical window view. Thank you both, from the bottom of my heart. You made my first solo trip unforgettable!

Our stay at Icy's apartment for two nights was absolutely fantastic! The apartment itself is stunning – it's clear everything is brand new, with beautiful furnishings and a really fancy, modern design that made us feel like we were in a high-end boutique hotel. Beyond the aesthetics, the location couldn't be better. We loved being within easy 15 minutes walking distance of all the major tourist spots, and the surrounding area was so nice and comfortable to explore. What truly made our trip exceptional was Icy, who was an incredibly helpful and responsive host. We felt so at home from the moment we arrived. Highly, highly recommend!
