Historical Water Tower Montabaur

Built in 1879, the listed water tower in Montabaur offers a special and cosy ambience. In a prime location in Montabaur, between the ICE train station and the old town, pretty much everything the city has to offer is within walking distance. The tower is historically preserved, but still offers many modern amenities. Around 1990, it was completely renovated and converted into living space. In 2023 it was renovated with a new bathroom. Very nice bright 2 room apartment with separate kitchen and bathroom. You will live in 50 sqm in the attic directly on the Lahn hiking trail. You look over the city of Diez. You will sleep on a 160x200cm bed. Parking in front of the house (or in the courtyard) at no cost. In a few minutes you can reach shopping center, baker, butcher etc. 10 minutes from the Diez inner and old town and the Lahn. It takes 10 - 15 minutes to get to Limburg. There is a cathedral and also a historic old town.

Simple but functionally furnished, clean room with daylight in the basement of our single-family home in Altenkirchen/Ww. Private bathroom 2 steps across the hall opposite the room. The hallway leads to our basement rooms, which means we sometimes have to go through the hallway. Mini kitchen. Wi-Fi. TV. Near DRK Altenheim. A travel bed can be added to the bed (1.40 x 2.00, for two people to sleep) if necessary. For guests with a baby, a reservation is possible after consultation.

Pure nature! You live in an old train station directly on hiking and biking trails. Absolute tranquility (almost) without neighbors. Slow-moving freight trains pass by on the rails 3 times a day. On weekends they are still - then you can watch deer or even a fox there. The apartment is located in the former engine shed of the train station and is stylishly/individually and comfortably furnished. It is now available for the first time after complete renovation of the building.

In the rugged Upper Westerwald, directly on the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge, where the Holzbach stream has carved its bed into the basalt over the millennia, the days are simply different. Longer, more eventful, more relaxing. Feel at home here and experience a special place to recharge your batteries, strength, and inspiration. A fire pit with firewood and a kettle grill are available. Towels and bed linen are provided upon request (for an additional charge).

Despite the good connection, the place is in a rural idyll. The apartment is built barrier-free and senior-friendly.
