The locks at the top of the Telemark Canal are a short drive away, and the area is used a lot for both bike rides and kayaking. 15 min drive from Lunde, 30 min to Bø Sommarland.

Vinterstid er det flotte skiløyper i området. Huset er bygd sammen med et nyere hus, atskilt via en stor hall. Gjester har for tiden hele stedet for seg selv. Kort avstand til fine steder/aktiviteter; Lifjell, Bø Sommarland, Svenseid Alpakka, Øvre verket håndverkstun, flere sluser, flotte sykkelløyper osv
