The Ulafosses are 5 minutes walk from the cabin and you hear the rush from the Ulafosses from the porch. The cabin is a perfect starting point for mountain hikes in Rondane National Park, and several of Rondanes 2000 meters peaks. The cabin has 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Water must be carried in and there is outhouse. The cabin has electricity, and there are car roads throughout the year.

The area is an excellent starting point for day trips to Besseggen, Glittertind, Besshø or Rasletind, among others.
