Holiday rentals with lake access in Normandy

We had a pleasant weekend. Beautiful setting, with a superb view of the Seine . Beautiful decor.

What a beautiful location and house. We were stopping for just one night on route south and this was a perfect place to relax, cook dinner and cool off in the lake.

Super accommodation ... beautiful house ... great layout ... with the kitchen/diner and sitting room in one big room on the middle floor the Estuary views whilst eating or relaxing are quite wonderful !

Stayed at Sophie & David’s place on the way down to Saumur and we are so glad we did. The place was lovely & very clean. Garden was ideal for our little dog who was secure at all times. The location was stunning, very quiet and pleasant. Lovely little spot. Tight squeeze getting to the property if you have a big car but we managed. Sophie & David were very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend especially if you’ve got a dog.

a nice quiet place. Don't be afraid of the dogs🐕 that don't bark at you and seek affection without being insistent. 5 minutes from 🍕the best pizzaloio in Normandy, the bakery🥐🥖, and 15 minutes from a medium-sized supermarket, on foot. Country walks on foot (go to Montivilliers by the fishermen's path, 1 hour round trip), and tourist sites nearby, there is something for everyone. Carole and Éric are welcoming, and although very close to their house, the independent accommodation allows all privacy.... and the flow of the waterfall of the mill can only be heard with the window open, bucolic to the max. Inspiring for a watercolor that will be our next creation...☺️🖌️🖼️

Our family of four enjoyed everything about our night at Remy’s marine-themed ranch. From the masterfully crafted wood furniture to the decor and lighting, we sensed the care that had been put into building and furnishing the ranch. The large bunk bed was a perfect sleeping arrangement for us and all slept soundly on comfortable bedding. In the morning we got to know the white horse on the property and already the children want to go back! A warmly recommended lodging.

A great weekend in a place full of charm, whether it's the cottage, the hikes in the forest where we went on foot or the villages recommended by Élise and Sylvain. we'll be happy to go back!

The geographical location of this accommodation is perfect for discovering the bay of Mont Saint Michel. The house and the large garden are very well maintained. Everything was perfect, we didn't miss anything. Dominique is a very friendly, pleasant and helpful host. She quickly told us about the surroundings, and gave us all the information we needed before and during our stay. Very attentive to our needs. We thank Dominique very much for her welcome and all her little touches that made our stay unforgettable. We felt at home and our exchanges were very friendly. We'll be happy to go back!

Very good stay at Alexandre's, apartment as described for 2 people, good quality bedding and sufficient amenities. A small suggestion for Alexandre, for future vacationers, access to wifi would be a plus. We'll be happy to go back

I found the apartment even more spacious than in the photos. The value for money is excellent compared to the rest. You can easily reach the beach and the small streets on foot. Very communicative and accommodating owner. It was great!

Perfect stay for a group of three!

The apartment is very good, it perfectly matches the description, good location, very quiet residence during our stay (1st week of June), clean, well equipped and comfortable (there were 2 of us, we did not use the sofa bed in the living room). Nius recommends this accommodation.

This is our second stay here, and everything went very well again! Léa is very welcoming, the accommodation is perfectly equipped, and the city is really very pretty.

Beautiful apartment, very nice, very well decorated, with a lot of taste. Friendly and warm welcome from Élodie who was very flexible, both on our arrival and departure schedules. The apartment is very well located in relation to the city center. Close to the train station, it is an ideal base when you come by train. I recommend it 200%!

Small apartment, very clean, cozy, with many amenities at our disposal, the bedding very good (bed and sofa bed), the linens were impeccably clean and smelled very good, towels and gloves available for our whole little family. The host left us a lot of little touches like chocolate coffee for the children, a small bar of butter... The apartment is very well located right next to the beach, next to the marsh and the museum, perfect for a family with children. Thanks again for a lovely stay .

We loved Barbara's little house! It is cool in the hot season, which is very appreciable. Everything was perfect - the advice, the welcome, the communication, the place - and we were able to enjoy this beautiful region for a weekend. We would gladly come back in winter to enjoy the fireplace!

We felt very comfortable with Véronique and Rémy and can only recommend this quiet and cozy apartment. They are very nice and helpful as hosts, the apartment was exceptionally clean and is sensibly equipped. We knew beforehand that it is a bit off the beaten track, but if you want to make excursions to Caen, the coast and the picturesque Suisse Normande, it is wonderfully located. The property is like a small park, beautiful, quiet and extremely well maintained. We would book with Véronique and Rémy again anytime.

we had a lovely weekend with the family. the spacious, nice quiet accommodation, very clean. very good welcome. nothing is missing. maybe a 🤔😉Spa. visit to Mont Saint Michel 30 minutes from Saint Malo 23 minutes away. very nice person very attentive.

Axel was a great host. He made us feel welcome and happily explained the history and culture of the house and region. He took the trouble to make us feel at home despite ours being a very last minute booking. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
