Het terrein is omheind en afgesloten met eigen parkeerplaats en heeft een kampvuurplaats. Voor actieve personen die graag wandelen of fietsen liggen er diverse fiets-, mountainbike- en wandelroutes voor de deur. Nationaal Park De Maasduinen, de Maasheggen Unesco gebied en het Pieterpad liggen dichtbij.

Gelegen in de Groesbeekse bossen nabij de Mookerhei vind je chalet Elja, een oase van rust. Met vele natuurlijke en interessante activiteiten in de omgeving is er altijd iets te doen – maar niets hoeft, want gewoon relaxen in ‘je eigen bostuin’ kan ook. Lekker wandelen of mountainbiken in de bosrijke omgeving, een dagje op het water in recreatiepark Mookerplas of een bezoek aan Nijmegen, de oudste stad van Nederland. Dit zijn een paar opties maar er zijn nog veel meer mogelijkheden.

This cozy chalet is located on the outskirts of a small-scale quiet park. The view from the conservatory is like a live painting: deer, geese, and many species of birds pass by. On the terrace, there is, among other things, a swing bench. In the garden you can use the fresh herbs. The park is right on the Oisterwijkse forests and fens and the Kampina. At the driveway is a shed for 2 bicycles. The price includes bed linen and 2 towels pppw. Excl. tourist tax (€2.50 pppn) and firewood.
