A 20 mins walk in to the town to explore cafes/bars & local independent shops, Mere, Museum, Honeysuckle Farm all well worth a visit. Old Masters Cottage is a 5* holiday cottage (see tripadvisor) which is steeped in history with the main part of the cottage dating back to the late 1800's next to the Old School House restaurant on the edge of the village. The cottage stands on the old boys school site and has many stories from the locals. The cottage has recently been subject to recent renovations and is now a much loved and beautifully presented holiday home, which can sleep up to 8 very comfortably in 4 bedrooms.
