Pet-friendly holiday rentals in North Yorkshire

This is the second time we have stayed at Laura’s place. We last stayed 3 years ago and loved the place, it has not changed in this time and still looks great. You can tell it’s really cared for! We really appreciated the lovely welcome pack. We look forward to returning.

We booked this for friends to use for their honeymoon. Charles was very accommodating and helpful when booking and the space was just perfect. Particularly appreciated was the wood fired hot tub and lots of useful local information helping them to make the most of their stay.

No one could enter No 3 and not smile. It is enchanting. Fab location for walks straight out of the door , access to Fountains/Ripon/Pateley Bridge. Quiet hamlet with particularly beautiful chapel with boxed pews and lovely clear windows. Coffee grinder, beans, biscuits, eggs and milk to great you. And colours that make you feel you ve landed in some whimsical film set. We loved it all.

I live locally and brought my mum and little furry friend to stay at Carr Cottage for a couple nights while we were having work done on our place. We were looking for somewhere comfortable and clean to get away for a few days and maybe enjoy a few nice walks with the dog. We got all that and more. This cottage was such a lovely respite and we enjoyed every second of our stay. It was the perfect little place for us to have a much needed rest & ease the burden of all the craziness going on back home. The scenery was gorgeous, the location peaceful & picturesque, and the cottage wonderfully cozy. Everything was lovingly prepared and clearly done with a lot of care. We were very impressed with absolutely everything and appreciate that so much thought was put into every aspect of the home and making our stay as comfortable as possible. Despite living locally, we don’t venture up Luddenden nearly enough and we would love to come again. Thank you for everything!

We had a wonderful stay! It was perfectly situated for us, immaculate and so peaceful. Lucy’s directions were very clear and we had no problem finding the cottage. Would 100% stay here again when visiting family, thank you!

Remotely located, charming, old-fashioned stone cottage that is warm and has all of the essentials that you’d need. We were greeted by the lovely Trish who showed us round and explained everything. There was a gift-basket with goodies and a freshly baked cake waiting for us. We would warmly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cow Shed. When we arrived, we thought it looked better than the photos! Christina was welcoming and really helpful. We really appreciated having a travel cot and highchair waiting for us! Our little boy loved seeing the goats and chickens in the gardens and there was plenty of toys for him to play with, he was delighted. The location was also really easy to get to and perfect for our family visit in Wetherby. We hope to come back again soon, thank you 😊

Whether we are there as a couple, or it is one man and his whippet :-) , Nicola's place always delivers. The dog friendly garden is a dream, walks close by and a simply beautiful part of the world. Nicola is always friendly and a great host. We are regulars and hope to continue to be! Thanks for another great stay. I had to pick Pinter (whippet) up to put him in the car as he didn't want to leave!

Loved our stay

We had the beer weekend at Charlotte Cottage with our cockapoo! So much space for him to run around. Close enough to Malton we could go for dinner and everywhere is dog friendly! You could have easily stayed in, ordered in or made food and used the numerous facilities at Langton hall. We will be back!

Ivy cottage was the perfect place to stay for our trip to filey. It felt so homely from the second we arrived and communication with Andree was great making it even easier to feel right at home. She instantly help with any issues we had and was incredibly approachable. A lovely host and a lovely cottage - we would love to stay again!

Had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend at Salty Kisses with my family. The house was clean, well equipped and in a great location. Joanne was a very good host and emailed all the information I needed. Would definitely recommend.

Charming and full of character, with fabulous pool and hot tub. Loved our stay with family. Granddaughter filled with excitement throughout our stay.

Had an amazing weekend at Rachael's caravan, this was our second visit and we 100% plan on coming again. Rachael is a wonderful host who is easy to contact and she takes pride in her beautiful caravan. The caravan was extremely clean, comfortable and very homely, as the weather was warm we spent most of our time outside on the decking which had plenty of seating space and the hot tub was a great added extra enjoyed mostly by the kids. There was plenty to do onsite including the swimming pool, a private dog park where you can let your doggos off lead and play. The staff at the main reception were friendly and helpful and the bar area was clean with lots food and drink options. We would highly recommend coming to stay at Serendipity and we will be visiting again.

We spent 2 nights at the apartment. Everything was as described. The location is fantastic within a beautiful holiday village and only 5 mins walk to the amazing never ending sandy beach which is absolutely perfect for your four legged friend. Filey is only 5 mins drive with lovely shops and restaurants and bustling Scarborough only a 15 mins drive. Will definitely be back!

Lovely little place. Nice location and grounds. It was the ideal location for me as it was only 5 minutes from the friend I was visiting. Lovely and clean, bed was really comfy and shower was hot and very powerful. Has an air fryer, toaster, small fridge etc. no complaints. The only minor thing I would maybe suggest is a small wardrobe in the corner of the bedroom or clothes rail as there is a chest of draws and only 2 hangers in the back of the door. Could do with some more hanging space but other than that hopefully I’ll be able to book this place again next time I’m up. Thanks Rebecca

Wow! What a fantastic place to stay. The cottage was a perfect haven for a relaxing holiday. The scenery was breathtaking, and we spent much of the time gazing out of the window at the dramatic weather and wildlife. We wished we could have stayed longer! Barn Cottage exceeded our expectations. Set in the most beautiful landscape. The cottage was clean, cosy, had everything we needed and more (games room with lots of games, books and a football table!) and the private garden was just stunning. My friend and I went to do the 3 peaks so was the great location not far away from the start point to rest and recover! The icing on the cake was meeting and feeding the cute Pygmy goats and chickens. Loved our stay, would 100% stay again

We had a lovely stay. It was my partner and I’s first trip away and we had our doggie too! Instructions were very clear and was able to find the lodge easily when using What3Words. The lodge was in impeccable condition and we were welcomed with some milk, butter, bread and doggie treats! Thank you so much! Gorgeous area that we’d like to return to one day! Highly recommend. The peaceful location by the edge of the churchyard in the centre of the town is what makes this place ideal for a visit to Pickering. The cottage is very much as described. The kitchen is well equipped. The shower is excellent, and the heat and hot water are very efficient. I was mildly anxious about parking, but in fact we had no difficulty parking on a quiet street adjacent to the cottage.

Spent 2 nights in this beautiful spacious cottage, on our way home from Scotland. Good quality furniture and lovely decor. The garden was great for our dogs. Pretty surroundings and so many local walks! Very well equipped and we appreciated the welcome pack. Thank you

Fabulous find , luxurious high end barn with everything you need, perfect location, scenery, walks and a delightful enclosed garden and your own gate into an enclosed woodland . Perfect for one’s dog . Absolutely stunning , we only had a couple of days but just sitting outside with a drink In your hand morning noon and night totally relaxed us . We have an extremely busy life and this stop over was just the ticket Thank you for a fabulous few relaxing days . Highly recommended this barn . The village is so atmospheric , in days gone buy .
