Modern amenities such as fireplace, private hot tub, fire pit, gas BBQ and access to our pool (June-Sept), pond, gym and tennis court.

1832 Historic Washington Bottom Farm Log Cabin

Welcome to our renovated 1832 Log Cabin on the grounds of the George William Washington and Sarah Wright Washington 19th century plantation. The cabin was the first structure built. Then came barns and slaves’ quarters (no longer standing). The dairy barn is now a woodworking shop and the bank barn was recently restored. The main house, built in 1835, is Greek Revival style. Today, our 300+acre is Certified Organic. We border the South Branch of the Potomac River. It’s ALMOST HEAVEN !

Newly built guesthouse above owner's garage with insane sunrises & great view. Property is located on 36 acres, owner lives on site in a separate house with her 3 dogs, 1 exceptionally lazy cat and 4 rogue chickens (they may all come visit you!). Grounds have ancient apple trees, loads of perennial gardens with more in progress, berries and an organic vegetable garden that we would love to share from if desired. Guest suite in home of long-time Woodstock artist and resident. Separate entrance off 2nd story deck with meadow and mountain views. Space has everything you need for a retreat away from it all – a meditation nook for 2, yoga mats to use inside or out on the deck, hot tub to soak cares away and relax after a day out and about in the beautiful Catskill mountains. Hot tub is in 3-acre backyard with privacy enclosure, so bathing suits are optional (we provide bathrobes.)

Our single story 2 bedroom 1 bath home is located within 30 minutes of Mad River Glen and Sugarbush ski areas and the quaint towns of Bristol, Richmond and Waitsfield. Drive another 15 minutes to Burlington or the Bolton Valley Ski Area. Hiking, biking and cross country skiing trails nearby, or just sit on the porch and enjoy the sounds of the nearby river. Snow tires and front wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicles necessary during the winter months.
