The hotel opened in 2021 and is located in an old, partly converted apartment building in the middle of Arendal city centre. Check-in and check-out are automated, and traditional hotel services such as mini bar, room service, 24-hour reception are replaced by digital services.

Vi er et koselig lite hotell med fem hotellrom der hvert rom har eget bad og utgang til veranda. Du får tilgang til felleskjøkken og -stue, der du kan lage deg måltider og være sosial med andre. Hos oss bor du rett ved havet, og naturen kan nytes rett utenfor døra. En liten matbutikk finner du hundre meter unna. Rett ved siden av oss ligger fergeleiet der to forskjellige ferger kan ta deg med til tre andre øyer, samt at bussen til og fra Tromsø stopper der. Vi ønsker deg velkommen til oss!

We will do this by making your room a living room at day, and a bedroom at night. The hotel does not have an elevator and may not be accessible for guests with mobility impairments or wheelchair users.

Saltstraumen Hotel

Hotel rooms with self check. All rooms are on the ground floor with their own front door, and you will get a code for self check. Rent only includes the room, not breakfast or other facilities in the hotel. The room has two good single beds, desk, chair, small wardrobe, bathroom with shower and toilet. Towels and all round soap are provided. As a guest, you have access to a fridge and microwave in the common area, as well as a kettle.
