Very tranquil home in a peaceful part of town. I appreciated the local guidebooks too! Bed was comfy, everything worked as expected.

Next time, I'd like to stay for a longer period.

Takuo's house is an old sea captain's cottage that has been beautifully restored to a very modern standard. It is very comfortable and cosy with a great view of the ocean through the large glass windows. Takuo is a great host with excellent English from having worked overseas for many years. He took time off one afternoon to show us around the local village that had been damaged in the 2024 earthquake and explained the restoration issues that owners faced. Highly recommended.

I stayed for 2 nights to meet a friend. I was with a friend who loves cooking, so we bought Noto ingredients at local supermarkets and fresh produce and cooked and ate a lot.It was wonderful to have all the necessary tools and utensils for cooking.The refrigerator is also a regular size for home use.(Seasoning is to be brought by the customer) I also enjoyed the cypress bath. The sea in front of you is calm, with plenty of crabs and fish.The path of the full moon (light reflected on the water) was also visible. I wanted to stay a little longer. Thank you for your hospitality. I'll visit again!
