The house is located under 1 hour travel path to: Bø with its summer land and climbing park Kongsberg with the Silver Mines and the Alpinsenter/Ski Center Rjukan with world heritage, bathing land, climbing park and Gaustablikk with alpine and cross-country Gaustatoppen, Lifjell and Blefjell Tilodden with Blues festival, Stavkirka, Telemarksgallery and World Heritage is about 30 mins. drive. Just choose and evoke experiences and tours, or to enjoy quiet days and the good life of the countryside.

The cabin is located right on a lake with swimming and fishing opportunities. You have a panoramic view of the water and the Gausta peak from the living room. The cabin is only 8 km from Bø Sommerland and 20 km from Lifjell winterland.Approximately 5 km from the cabin you will find Grønkjær ski resort with great cross country slopes. The location right between Bø and Notodden offers opportunities for shopping and restaurants. In the summer it is possible to rent the canoe ( in sharing with my other cabin in the area) for NOK 350,- per day.

Accomodation with location about 1 min walk to USN and 20 min walk to city center. 7 min walk to food nook . Indoor living room w/kitchenette, bathroom and two bedrooms. The one bedroom is the double bed (120cm), the other bedroom two single beds(90cm) In the living room there is a sofa bed (90cm) wiped out 180cm. Plus a big buzzer. The apartment has a private entrance and free parking. The apartment is downstairs, arrival via stairs. The summer months it possible to use the pavilion outside the entrance.

Here you have immediate proximity to the wilderness that offers hiking, mountain biking, swimming, fishing, cross-country skiing, and Kongsberg and Gausta ski centers nearby. The cabin is newly built in 2023, luxurious, fully equipped, with WiFi included. Bedding&towels can be rented for €20 per person.

Norwegian country bliss by the lake

Small cabin by the lake. Perfect for a getaway from the modern world. Great for relaxing, hiking, fishing, mushrooms and berry picking and swimming. Guests can use the canoe at own risk. There are sheep grazing in the fields and a very special flower meadow. There is a outside seating area with a simple bbq. New bathroom with shower and toilet in the barn. Sauna can be rented for additional cost. Ps. there is no running water in the cabin, this is available few meters away, in the barn.
