Little Manor Annexe - Beautiful Rural Location

A bright and airy two bedroom annexe on the side of our family home, set down a private drive in the little village of Downhead. Wonderful views of fields to enjoy at the front and side of the home and quiet woodland behind. Wildlife and farm animals are easily spotted. The popular East Mendip Way footpath passes the bottom of the garden, offering fabulous walks. With parking outside the door, the annexe being all on one level and having a walk-in shower, it is suitable for all abilities.

This leaves the whole of the top floor as a light, airy bedroom with a kingsize bed. Huge Velux windows frame the view over the hill and field behind. Parking outside for 1 car (more if needed). A portion of the front garden, with table and chair, is entirely for guests' use. The room sits at the end of a detached period cottage, once an old weaver's cottage in the 17th century, overlooking the Longleat estate and thus beautiful views. There is free off-road parking and only a few miles to Frome or Warminster.

With stunning walks on your doorstep and many unique places within a short drive, this is a beautiful place to retreat from urban life for a few days or weeks. There is no outdoor space with the property but there is a large children’s park one-minute walk over the road. Fantastic mountain bike track five minutes walk away past the castle. Great village Pub.

The Cow Shed

The Cow Shed is a bright and airy one bedroom holiday cottage/annex. It boasts a private entrance, hall, double bedroom, luxury shower room and comfortable loft living area with fitted kitchenette. The Cow Shed is set on a small farm with horses, chickens and goats alongside the river Frome. The cottage is great as a base to explore the area. We are a stones throw from the local attractions of Longleat, Bath, Wells, Stourhead, Alfred’s Tower, Cheddar and Glastonbury.

Two recently modernised apartments are available and can be rented individually or combined as one large four-bedroomed comfortable house. Each apartment comprises two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a large open plan living room with a fully equipped kitchen. The top flat has wonderful views of the castle.

Private Annex on a dairy farm. Double bed with ensuite bathroom and kitchen area which includes fridge, and kettle. Tea, coffee,provided. Toaster, Fridge and microwave in the room for your use. Towels provided. TV & DVD player. WiFi is available but phone reception very limited Newly renovated space in the former Farm logshed. Situation is in quiet village 30 minutes from Bath; 20 minutes from Wells & Glastonbury & 10 minutes from Frome & Shepton Mallet.
