Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. Among other things, there is a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eater Giovanni Midwoud that also delivered. There is a motorboat available for a fee. Our cozy cottage is located in the back of the garden, and is built from the old building materials of the old Avenhorn auction. Conveniently located 10-40 km. from: Hoorn-Enkhuizen-Medemblik, Edam-Volendam-Marken. But also Alkmaar, the Zaanse schans, Amsterdam and not to mention the coast of N.Holland.

This cottage is located on the back of a farm, in the middle of a nature and bird area in North Holland, 30 minutes away from Amsterdam. Close proximity Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Hoorn and the beach at Egmond aan Zee.

Dutch Air (detached accommodation)

Hollandse Lucht is a detached accommodation behind the Dorpsstraat in the North Holland town of Obdam. You have access to your own living/ dining room, bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom. In the living room you find a sitting area, flat screen TV incl. on demand subscription (+ Formula 1), surround system and a pellet stove. The bedroom has been furnished with a double boxspring. In the bathroom you will find a spacious walk-in shower, and sink.

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland and in the evening there are no buses. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you have to take care of the breakfast yourself.

Many cycling routes run through this village and along surrounding bulb fields.
