The city center of Fredrikstad and the college, is only 20 minutes away by foot. 5 minutes to the free ferry that takes you to the old town or city center. Welcome to beautiful Vesterøy at Hvaler! Here is our idyllic cottage with lovely views and proximity to the lake, beach and hiking areas. In walking distance from the cabin you will also find the grocery stores, it is 10 min to drive to Fredrikstad and we have a boat a stone's throw from the cabin that you can also rent. The cabin is newly renovated; has inlaid water (shower, toilet, dishwasher and washing machine) , internet and TV. Two large patio's with dining area and sofa/lounge Fire pit, grill and pizza oven.

The apartment is located in a scenic area with a short distance both to the city and the forest. It is a 3 min drive to grocery stores, bakery and pharmacy. (walking distance 15-20 min). At the shopping center there is also a free city ferry to the old town and to the city center. There is easy access to great hiking areas in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation. The apartment also has a sunny outdoor area for use. Hosting is available for assistance and guidance. We have English, German and French.

Welcome to "bua" at Hvalstrand pier facility! Bua is a cozy cabin located at Hvalers perhaps most charming marina. Here it is quiet and peaceful while getting a taste of boating Bua is adjacent to the boat docks to expect to meet people vacationing in their boats. There are on-site swimming facilities with a swimming staircase on the end of the boat dock. The surroundings consist of a lot of nice nature with forest, paths and mountains. Spacious and nice apartment in a secluded location on Vesterøy on Hvaler. Parking space available. Walking/bike distance to swimming areas and hiking trails. Several beaches with good parking facilities nearby. From the city center on Vesterøy there is a bus both further out towards Skjærhalden and into Fredrikstad. Here you can enjoy the silence with a cup of coffee in the sun, take a walk in the forest, a bath in the sea and explore Hvaler's sights.

Here you can enjoy quiet days in the garden, or take a trip to the sea. Both Spjærekilen with good bathing opportunities and Kjellvika are in walking distance. Generally great hiking opportunities. Whether you want to enjoy the quiet days or want to explore Whales, this is a great base. Shops about 5 km away.
