We spent three wonderful days on Skogsøya. The house, although not traditional in style, was superbly positioned overlooking the sea and the neighbouring islands. The huge picture windows give an ever changing view that in real life are much better than the photos. We walked the coast road and several of the footpaths some of which climb hills behind the house and offer views over Vesterålen. You can hike to the north coast, but it gets very boggy beyond the big lake. Check the ferry timetable before travelling and if you arrive on a Sunday remember to do your shopping the day before! We would wholeheartedly recommend staying in Anders place on this magical island.

We had an amazing stay with Tore and is wife. They are amazing hosts. Their place id in an amazing location, with the best view of Eidet and the mountains, and the house as everything you need to have a great stay and relax. It was exactly what we were looking for for our holidays. If we didn't have already booked another stay we would stay more days at Tore place

Wir haben entspannte Tage in super schöner Natur verbracht. Die Wohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen, da sie sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet war. Haben uns direkt wie zu Hause gefühlt. Mit dem Auto ist das Airbnb gut erreichbar. Es ist weiter zu empfehlen!

nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour chez Gulith. l'appartement est très agréable avec une terrasse qui a une vue magnifique. le frère de Gulith, Arthur, nous a donné plein de renseignements et était très sympathique. nous avons pu randonner et faire du bateau. le restaurant à côté est très bon. je recommande chaleureusement

Lovely cosy cabin in peaceful surroundings. We felt right at home and really enjoyed beautiful Vesterålen. Location was great with many beautiful beaches and hikes around the corner. Good location near the Joker (for groceries) as well. Everything was described and the house was well-equipped with kitchen and bathroom essentials. Big thank you to the host for providing everything we needed!

Alles bestens, schöne Lage, viel Natur. Gemütliches Häuschen am Wasser ohne Lärm und dahinter ein Fluss mit Singschwänen. Auch Schneehühner gibts gleich nebenan Richtung Hovden. Top für Naturliebhaber

To stay at Håvard's place is a treat. You will live in an authentic farm house where every little corner has been set up to store things. This has been by far one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. Strongly recommended.

What a beautiful home from home, the property was immaculate throughout. Communication with the host was quick and efficient. Vi er en familie på fem (to voksne og tre barn på 2, 4 og 7 år) og vi storkoste oss på Casa Lydia! Et rent og rydding hjem som var velutstyrt med alt vi hadde behov for, både på kjøkken, bad, soverom og vaskerom. Verten var kjapp og behjelpelig i kommunikasjonen. Casa Lydia er som en tidreise, tilbake til oldemors hjem. Nostalgisk og koselig. I tillegg er huset omgitt av vakker natur, og mange fine turmuligheter i nærområdet. Kritthvit strand og fjære, sjarmerende brukthandel, mektige fjell og fiskevær. Kan også anbefale Radiobingo på Radio Bø på mandager (lokal radio på kjøkkenet). Anbefaler Casa Lydia på det varmeste! Vi kommer tilbake.🌟

Her kommer man rett inn i et hjem, bare at vertskapet mangler! Hjemmekoselig og avslappende sted 😊 Vakker og rolig beliggenhet med utsikt rett i havgapet på den ene siden og flotte fjell på den andre. Vanskelig å legge seg om kvelden da midnattssola hang over vannskorpa og skapte et magisk lys. Stille og fredelig beliggenhet ga god nattesøvn - tusen takk for oss 🙏

I Stayed there for one night. The house is beautiful with lot of beautiful and interesting stuff, the view from the diningroom is beautiful aswel. (the pictures don't lie!) There is an other house for the horses. Two beautiful horses who Elise takes care with lot of love. The main 'private' spaces are in the basement of the house. All rooms where splinter new. You also have access to the saloon and the kitchen. Elise was very nice and gives me good advice for a great restaurant. It was short, but I realy have a good time and would love to go back to Elise's house.
