From here there are many options, such as walking/cycling along the IJssel, a day trip to the beautiful Hanseatic city of Deventer, sauna Thermen Bussloo, Paleis het Loo in Apeldoorn or to the Veluwe. Tucked away in a wild garden is this unique garden house, close to the historic center of Deventer. Sustainably built with recycled materials and tastefully decorated. Ideal for two people, with a sofa bed for a third person. The garden house has its own entrance and there is a lot of privacy. Through the oldest city park in the Netherlands, you cross the IJssel with the ferry and you are in the middle of the lively city center. Or walk around the corner into the floodplains.

Beemte Broekland ligt in een landelijke omgeving tussen Apeldoorn en Deventer. Je houdt van een vintage uitstraling en stille omgeving, zeker 's avonds. De Veluwe en de IJssel zijn goed te bezoeken, maar steden als Zutphen en Zwolle zijn ook goed bereikbaar. Je mag de auto(‘s) bij het woonhuis parkeren. We bieden geen ontbijtservice. Bed Op Steeg is a detached B&B/Vacation home in the village of De Steeg, (between Arnhem and Zutphen), at the foot of the Posbank and Veluwezoom National Park. A stone's throw away is the river De IJssel. Right in front of the door, you have your own parking space and an outdoor area/terrace. There is a living room with fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom, master bedroom and an extra bedroom. There is room for up to 4 people and 2 dogs.

Bring your bike or rent a bike in our village or put on your walking shoes to optimally enjoy the Veluwe. Or come and relax and unwind in our tiny house that is equipped with all conveniences. If you want to relax and decide for yourself what you do, you have come to the right place! We have a fully independent vacation cottage (45 m2) next to our house where you can enjoy yourself. The cottage has its own entrance and is equipped with its own complete kitchen, bathroom and a separate bedroom. Our vacation home is located in Gietelo near Voorst. From here, it is beautiful to hike and bike or visit Zutphen, Deventer or Apeldoorn.

Waking up among the whistling birds in a Natura 2000 area on the southern Veluwe? Located on a very popular cycling route for recreation, hiking, cycling or mountain biking to be on the Ginkelse Heide within a few hundred meters. Many animals are spotted here in the evening and at night: deer, foxes, badgers, squirrels, buzzards, tawny owls, woodpeckers and hares. In the wood embankment, even weasels can be spotted!
