A truly unique place in stunning surroundings. Very conveniently located near MONA and the wildlife sanctuary with a couple of lovely wineries nearby. The comments from previous guests are accurate - one large living area so suitable for a family.

Derwent River Cottage is everything you see on the listing. Absolutely beautiful home with the most amazing view over the Derwent river, the mountains and the lights of Hobart. Very comfortable with a beautiful fireplace and everything you could ask for. Hosting Hobart were amazing and very prompt at responding to all of our queries, even bringing us extra coffee pods and tea bags when we arrived. They communicated with us very well with a fast response time, were extremely polite and accommodating. We had the best time in Hobart and staying at Derwent Cottage was definitely one of the highlights. We would highly recommend this accommodation and Hosting Hobart and we look forward to staying there again in the future. Thank you so much Hosting Hobart and all your staff, we are truly grateful.

Good hospitality , Joe is friendly and attentive to your needs , going the extra mile to provide the extra service . The place has its own entrance if you use the side stair going to the unit , you just come and go without disturbing anyone .The steep driveway is not a problem at all as there’s much plenty space to park in or reversing out . There’s also parking space on the main street. You have your own privacy during your stay .There’s a small outdoor where you can enjoy a cuppa or wine . Overall it was a good stay .
