Brondel Luxury Shepherd's Hut

TudorRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
It was easy to find the shepherds hut. A very warm and personal welcome from Elen to her cosy well equipped hut was given to us and our Lurcher, including fresh garden flowers, and some tasty Welsh treats. Peaceful and picturesque views over the valley, a large comfortable bed, super shower and kitchen. Fabulous walk with incredible views over the hill to the Halfway Inn - thirsty work and the local cider a must! We recommend the food and drink at the Ffarmers down in Llan y Creuddyn, we drove, but Elen offered us lifts!! We visited several family farms, some now deserted and also visited the National Library of Wales to view family letters sent home after arriving in New York in 1832. The Welsh art exhibition and BBC Wales Archive are a must see too. We also recommend the drive over the hills to choose one of the many walks around the fascinating National Trust Hafod Estate. Thank you Elen, we look forward to staying at the hut again.

The Orchard Cabin

RichardRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Our stay at the Orchid Cabin was lovely, the cabin and garden was private and peaceful, the kitchen had everything we needed, the hammocks are a great place to chill, I loved the shower. We loved the fact it was private at the cabin but short a 15/20 minute walk to Clarach bay beach, this was across the fields which is guided by orange markers, they have a chip shop/food etc and a few bars on the neighbouring caravan sites, and we walked along the coastal path from there to Aberystwyth with is about another 35/40 minute walk but we enjoyed the stunning views. Our dogs loved it as well. We will defo be re booking for a full weekend next time.

Cosy Shepherd's Hut

HelenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Unfortunately we were not able to make the most of this amazing little place as we arrived late and had to leave early to start a charity walk of the ceredigion coast. We hope to return to enjoy this beautiful place, a real place to relax and escape.

Exclusive Tent pitch in The Old Goginan Mine Site

ClaraRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Jo’s site has so much to recommend it! The woodland and grassy areas are pretty and tranquil, and a haven for wildlife as well as people! The fire pit creates a lovely focal point for gatherings and the site has the historical interest of the old silver mine to discover. There are walks and other activities straight from the gate, and the hosts are really accommodating and responsive.
