Pitcher's Off Grid Barn with Log Burner & Hot Tub

EddyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Me and my girlfriend had such an amazing time at this place. We’ve had something similar in the past but this one takes the cake. Very private and has an amazing view. Close to the road so sometimes you’ll hear people walking past and cars. But at night you can sit in the hot tub and enjoy looking at the stars. In our case we saw a shooting star while sat in the hot tub. I would 100% suggest this to friends and come again.!!!! Thank you

The White Cottage Romantic Riverside Retreat

JohnRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The White Cottage is a truly magical experience, and combined with Sally’s as the perfect host, we came away from our short break with memories that will last a lifetime. The location is breathtakingly peaceful. A garden within a garden set in landscape where time has good still. The stream that runs through garden is a playground for wildlife and you’ll be sharing your breakfast with ducks and moorhens. If you want a break oozing peace and quiet, a chance to unwind, and forget the day to day life the white cottage has it spades. Sally is a delightful host. Nothing is too much trouble. You arrive as a guest and leave as a friend. We loved it

Merlins Lodge, Country Hideaway, Electric hot tub

JenniferRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Check in was really simple and directions to find the place were spot on. Communication was excellent and we felt that we could contact the owners if we needed to. We had a lovely stay and would definitely consider stopping again if visiting the area in the future. The house smelt freshly cleaned when we arrived and was in a peaceful location. It was great to have a small selection of toiletries as well as coffee/tea provided - thank you. Bed linen and towels were clean and smelt lovely.

Luxury Country Cottage with Hot Tub

AleksandraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at this peaceful cottage retreat. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed. The setting is beautifully private—perfect for escaping the noise. We were greeted with a welcome package including snacks, a bottle of fizz, and clear instructions. It instantly made us feel at home. One highlight was the Jacuzzi—incredible! It was spotless and ready to go, with soft towels provided. We appreciated the natural shower products, which made the experience feel more luxurious. Communication with the hosts was easy. We were given a direct line and they responded quickly to any questions. The overall vibe of the place was calm and rejuvenating, a true hidden gem. It’s only about a 15-minute drive to nice local shops and restaurants, so you're not far from anything. We left feeling refreshed and already talking about our return. Highly recommend this cozy escape—we’ll definitely be back someday.

The Stables, Puddleduck - a countryside escape

MaggieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Mark was incredibly hospitable and welcoming. The place matched the description perfectly and featured a charming interior. While the provided parking spot can be a bit tight for larger vehicles, there’s plenty of street parking available nearby. The town of Evenly is lovely—I highly recommend grabbing a latte at the local coffee shop and unwinding at the village green.

Quiet Lane Retreat: The Bee Cottage Rutland

ChloeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Steve & Hanri have been the perfect hosts. A beautiful house set in a stunning location that's so quiet. The property had everything we needed and we did all our washing before coming home. There lots of little nooks to read a book. 'What Lies beneath' is a good read! On arrival we were left beautiful treats from the bakery, along with a bottle of wine and treats for our minature dachshund. The garden was a delight with a table and chairs for all the family. The yellow seated area near the rose is a real treat to enjoy a glass of wine or coffee on your own. All the recommendations are on a handmade map and we visted quite a few and we're very satisfied. The local pub 'The Sun Inn' offers the most outstanding food and service. The chip shop around the corner also satisfied our taste buds. Both our children enjoyed the recreation ground court where they played football and basket ball. The surrounding houses are just stunning. A 5* location and 5* hosts. We will be returning again.

Cottage c1790, Superb central Witney, free parking

AntigoneRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a great time staying here. It was nice and quiet and a very pleasant enclosed courtyard. The cottage was spotless Louisa left us a lovely welcome gift which was a lovely surprise. We didn’t want to leave! Witney is a good centre to see the Cotswolds and we also enjoyed exploring the town with a good range of shops. We also had a visit to The Farmer’s Dog pub having made a reservation - great experience and good food! Hopefully we will be back again soon!

Brilliant location as we were attending a friend’s wedding at Longstowe Hall. The cottage itself was immaculate and cozy - we felt at home straight away. We were travelling with our baby daughter and the cottage had everything we needed for her. Would definitely recommend and wish we had been able to stay longer.

HopeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely 2 nights stay! The property was so lovely, very quiet location. The owners are so kind and friendly! The dogs were also friendly. There wasn’t much around so we did have to drive but only about 10 minutes or so to find somewhere to eat! We both throughly enjoyed our stay.

18th Century Cosy Cottage & dog friendly

SteveRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Hi there, We recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely cottage and wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts and feedback. Firstly, I must say that the location is perfect for investigating the stunning beauty of the Peak District ! The picturesque views and serene surroundings made for a truly relaxing getaway. The cottage itself was cosy and well-maintained, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in the decor really added to the charm and made it feel like a home away from home. Overall, I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend your cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. Thank you for providing such a lovely space for us to enjoy. I look forward to the possibility of returning in the future. Best regards, Steve & Tracy Clark

Quintessential Cotswold Cottage The Old Bakehouse

JacquelineRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I and my guests absolutely loved our stay at Rosamund’s property. The property was a great place to enjoy slow mornings and evenings. We enjoyed the gorgeous views, the quiet of the village, and the cosy fireplace. We found the location to be a great base to explore the rest of the Cotswolds by foot and car. There are some great attractions both local and a little further out. Rosamund greeted us on our first night and gave us some amazing recommendations to avoid tourists traps. Outside of that first meeting we had complete privacy to enjoy the property - not that we wouldn’t have loved to bump into Ros again! I’d absolutely love to go back and stay again. I hope I will!

Barn conversion set in 30 acres of nature reserve.

SarahRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This lovely barn conversion and its grounds lived right up to the expectations set in the listing - and more! Jill was super friendly, flexible and communicative. Everything was spotless, well thought out and really enjoyable. The grounds are a standout. The location was central in the country so ideal for our family to converge. All in all it was the perfect spot for our family get together. We couldn’t fault it and our 3 separate family groups that visited all said we could happily live here. Hopefully we will be back again in another of our visits from Australia.

We’d happily stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The Bull Pen - Barn conversion 3 Ensuite bedrooms

AmyRating, 5 starstoday
Lovely stay at the Bull Pen. The accommodation is great and in beautiful surroundings. Well equipped rooms with fans in each room which helped with the recent hot weather! Uber is possible but we actually used Panther taxis which you can book through the Veezu app. Took us into central cambridge in 20 minutes. Sally is a great host and well recommended. Thank you!

School Cottage - Cute 1 bedroom Country Cottage

FlowerRating, 5 starstoday
Not only was Susan a fabulous host, but School Cottage was also homely, and exceeded my expectations in every way. It had a lot of character, from the well-.appointed decor, to the skew chimney and slopey upstairs floor. I would definitely visit again if I was in the area.

Cosy quiet cottage - parking, wi-fi, full kitchen

RobertRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Granary Cottage, It is well equipped, tastefully decorated and thoughtfully provisioned. Jan welcomed us on our arrival and quickly explained “how to come and go” matters. Settling in was facilitated by helpful notes strategically placed in the cottage. We particularly appreciated the large bathroom and shower and the cottage throughout was comfortable. It was also easy to access the internet. The cottage is located in the attractive Dallington Conservation Area, complete with charming almshouses and country pub. We can recommend the excellent Northampton Museum, its two theatres and nearby country parks. Thanks Jan for making our stay so enjoyable. We would be most happy to revisit Granary Cottage.
