Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Old Town, Bologna

Our host, Gabriele was very helpful and friendly. The accommodation ist very, very nice, situated only a short drive from the centre. As we walked in, you can see right away that a lot of love and dedication was invested in decorations. In front of the entrance we had a place where we had breakfast surrounded with flowers. Gorgeous!

Those days it was a sweltering heat, but in the room at night we could sleep with the window open and the narrowed doors and the fan running and we were able to sleep cool and quiet because we didn't have mosquitoes :)

The residence dal Ara is a very well-stocked and functional apartment located near the historic center of Bologna. Extremely friendly host ready to respond to all needs, very helpful. Possibility of parking outside the property. Highly recommended!

Everything is fine, Angelo is very accurate and punctual in communication and check-in, the apartment and room are comfortable and very clean. The area is not of particular value, but it still has two comfortable supermarkets right below the building and with a walk of about 15 minutes you can get to the center. I found the price high, but it should be said that it was the week of the Bologna fair and you know how these things work unfortunately.

Emmanuele is a very welcoming, available and discreet host. The house is spacious and the garden is beautiful and large. Proximity to Bologna (15') and highway (without inconveniences). We had a lovely stay and will keep a very nice memory.

The apartment is very nice, clean and very well maintained, the right size to be well livable. Claudia is a host who stands out for her friendliness, sympathy and availability, and is able to make guests feel welcomed as if they were at home. The apartment is in a quiet area full of nature, but at the same time very close to the central square of Castelnuovo Rangone and to several roads that lead both to the beautiful landscapes of the Emilian Apennines and to Modena. Highly recommended, if possible I will gladly return.

The apartment was big, it looked clean, noise from trains was minimal. Well placed and peaceful.

Francesco was very hospitable and communicative. No issues with checking in or with the stay itself. Parking is free at the nearby hotel and was right next to his apartment. Perfect for someone traveling solo.

He is very accommodating and his recommendations were excellent. His place is spacious and clean and far exceeded our expectations. We are a group of 12 boys from 20 to 25 years old, we spent New Year's Eve in Sorbara in Andrea's house. Magnificent house on 3 levels, very spacious and bright rooms, heated floor, very large garden and ping pong table We had a great time, I highly recommend it. House located 10 km from discos and clubs.

Cozy house, well furnished, with spa and gym, equipped with every comfort, everything manages to make even the days of bad weather spectacular! Andrea is always ready and available for any need, he made us spend a memorable weekend. Highly recommended!!

We stayed in a lovely villa in a quiet village. The house is spacious and well equipped: a large living room with garden perfect for grilling, a sleeping area with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a small gym with bathroom on the third floor. The owner was extremely kind and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. Easy to find parking spot and serene environment. Highly recommended!

We had a great time in this apartment! The hosts were very kind and always available for any need, making the stay even more enjoyable. The apartment is right under their home, but we had all the privacy we needed. The interior is an open space, but very spacious, well-kept and welcoming: you can immediately breathe a warm and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a few days of tranquility. The only small aspect to consider is that the bathroom is not located inside the apartment, but in an adjacent common area. However, it is still reserved for guests and is easily accessible. Overall, an excellent solution that we recommend to those looking for a quiet, clean place with really caring hosts!

The property is breathtaking, with stunning views that make it a perfect retreat. A car is essential for getting around. Our host, Lara, embodied the warmth and generosity of Italian hospitality. Despite pouring rain on our arrival, she greeted us warmly and explained everything thoroughly. She texted us recommendations for the best local restaurants and checked in regularly—not intrusively, but with genuine care and passion for her guests’ comfort. Lara went above and beyond, preparing the BBQ for us, offering fresh fruit as a thoughtful treat, and providing delicious pastries for breakfast on our departure day. I would absolutely stay here again!

The room at the lower level part which is part of the house was sufficient for a 1-night stay. The location is on the hilly side which is a bit of a walk up and down to the nearest bus stop. Taxi is advisable from the train station or bus stop and Francesca was kind enough to book a taxi for me coz it is hard to book in advance and if you don't speak Italian well. I have tried the app and contacted via the app but it was to no avail. Bologna is vibrant with many tourist attractions. Thank you Francesca for your hospitality
