Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Old Town, Dubrovnik

Mirjana was and her place were amazing! Staying in Lapad is much better than staying in the old town, plus the apartment is so close to local grocery store, bakery, bus stop, etc. She was so responsive and so welcoming by greeting us personally at arrival and giving us a small gift. she answered all and any questions we had and made sure we felt comfortable for our stay. We felt much more value at her place than in a hotel. would recommend any time! The apartment is small and nice, great for a couple or 3 people. The area is nice, near the great beach and restaurants too. Our stay is memorable thanks to her.

Mirna was extremely welcoming and helpful! The Airbnb was absolutely gorgeous. My husband and I went here for our honeymoon, it felt private but at the same time you can easily walk 3 minutes to the road to be picked up by a taxi or your own car. There is a freshwater stream going through next to the apartment that you can hear from inside which gave that amazing calming sound. If we needed anything we just easily messaged Mirna and she responds very quickly. She gave us recommendations on things such as markets. There is a restaurant at the nearby hotel (where you may choose to park) and the food is great and the prices are reasonable! My husband and I truly wish we could live here forever, it was amazing. Very heartbreaking to leave. Thank you again to Mirna for the amazing experience!

Maja was a fantastic host!! She and her daughters were very kind, helpful, and responsive during our stay. On our last night, they even dropped off bracelets and dessert for us, which was a super sweet surprise! As for the apartment, it was in a great location-very close to the bus stop and about a 25 min walk to the city center. Maya’s place was also very clean, had nice amenities, and had a beautiful view from the front deck. I would 100% stay here again and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to dubrovnik!!

The garden space is the highlight of Marta’s air bnb - the view is incredible. It’s such a relaxing atmosphere. We met both tortoises - they were friendly sought us out. The house was cozy and had most of what we needed - although you will want your own beach blanket and towel.

Very beautiful, clean and cozy apt. Paulina is very friendly and helpful. She was always available to answer all my queries and clear I. Her communication . She is also very flexible to suite our needs and change in plans. She went over and above in guiding us throughout our stay in Dubrovnik and beyond.

Very nice flat with a beautiful garden including the turtles appreciated by our girls. Functional kitchen and bathroom, perfect for a family of 4!

Stayed here for 11 nights in May 2025, highlight was the beautiful green patio area. Everything we needed for the stay was catered for. Great central location. Iris was at hand for any questions/information we needed. Everything was as described. Thank you Iris!! 😊

Just come back from a beautiful 3 day's here as a group of 4 friends. Apartment was exactly as described, if not better. Clean, peaceful and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We got around using Uber, which was only 5 minutes into the old town and worked out cheaper for 4 of us than using a bus. Restaurants and bars around. Pool was a great addition too. Stairs could be an issue for some, but worth the climb for the stunning views, would definitely recommend and visit again!

Maria and Pero were great hosts. The apartment was very clean and everything necessary was there. Beds were very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. We will be happy to come back! Thank you, Mario and Pero, for your hospitality!

This is a charming and quiet little neighborhood tucked away above the bustling city streets. We happily utilized the bistro table and chairs along the wall and enjoy the sites, sounds, and smells of the local residence and at the same time felt quite at home. We got some good exercise, too, and would definitely come back and stay there again. The little studio apartment was very clean and the shower was wonderful after walking for kilometers and flights of steps. Thanks so much and best to JOSKO and his family.

The apartment was perfect for our family! It had everything we needed. It was an 8 dollar Uber ride to the Old Town and there is a nice promenade with restaurants and a beach within walking distance where we could walk to watch the sunsets and my daughter could swim. It was clean, safe and the nearby residents were all friendly. Highly recommend!

Was the best trip we have been on. Ivica and his team were so helpful. The house was just what we needed for a large group. The outside terrace was so nice to sit out and enjoy in the shade. Thoroughly recommend.

Stayed in the apartment for a full week! A very nice place to explore the lower part of Croatia. Beach within walking distance. Nice place to park the car. Delightfully cool and clean apartment with a fantastic view! I want to go back!

The place was a perfect find for our family of 4 (2 young children). The place is a few minutes drive from the airport and it was easy to get around on the east coast by car or using public bus lines. The host was really nice and helpful giving recommendations about places to visit and where to eat. We also got to taste good home made wines, liquor and grappa, and also home made sausages, which where really good and felt especially welcoming. The kids loved the place and there was colouring pencils and paper in the appartment so they could draw pictures. The kids also loved the friendly dog Cookie, which lives downstairs :) All in all, we had a great holiday in Croatia which was mainly due the awesome appartment, recommendations from the host regarding places to see and also easy access to the sightseeings and restaurants, airport etc., from the appartment. Thank you so much for a lovely week :)

Listing as described. Perfect location close to small quiet beaches and at the same time close to Dubrovnik. Public transport nearby. Lazar is very friendly, he even helped us carry our luggage. I would recommend this nice little place!

LOCATION is perfect esp. if you want to avoid the steps. The place is suoer clean and bigger than the picture.

Kristina’s apartment is equipped with top quality furniture and decoration. It is very spacious. The best part is the two balconies facing to the ocean, you can sit there enjoying the sunrises and sunsets. There is a little bit walk to the old town, but it’s quite pleasant walk. Kristina and Robi are excellent hosts. They greet to their guests in person and give very detailed information about Dubrovnik, and they are very responsive. It was a very pleasant stay in Kristina’s place. I highly recommend it.

Great place for the price. Location was excellent. Maris was very helpful, responsive and informative! As one review pointed out there is a LOT of uphill steps to get from the old city to the apartment, so enjoy the free workout every time you head back to the apartment 😉 Definitely not accessible for people with mobility issues, but to be honest that goes for Dubrovnik in general.

The accommodation was excellent—very clean, tidy, spacious, and bright. It has a beautiful balcony facing the sea, offering a stunning view of the sea from both the room and the balcony. The host and their family were also incredibly warm and welcoming. We arrived earlier than the check-in time, but they greeted us warmly and kindly helped us check in early. The transportation was also convenient, as it was very close to the bus stop. I think staying here offers a much better experience than staying near the old town for us tourists.
