Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Olmi-Cappella

We absolutely loved our stay at Marie and Mathias’ place. The house is so stylish and well appointed but also very homely and has everything you need (including all cooking utensils etc). We loved having dinner on the rooftop looking across the valley and surrounded by birdsong. The location was perfect for us - we enjoyed walking the first section of the GR20 and cycling on the GT20, both from the door. We stopped off in Calvi for supplies but the Spar in Calenzana (20 min walk away) had everything we needed, so we didn’t use our car for the whole three night stay. Perfect! An FYI - we decided to sleep on the middle floor which does not have air conditioning so as to avoid stairs to the bathroom during the night. This bedroom is not air conditioned but we kept the shutters closed during the day to keep the room cool and there’s a fan which can also be used. This worked well! Completely recommend if you’re looking peace and quiet, and time outside!

Nicolas and Romana’s place is fantastic - we’d definitely recommend. Romana gave us a warm and friendly welcome and showed us around. The house was thoughtfully stocked with provisions including cooking basics and items for kids, and was spotlessly clean. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful, a great ‘gateway’ to explore the north of Corsica. Thank you for hosting us, Nicolas and Romana.

We had a pleasant stay in Baptiste's village house, freshly renovated with taste. Nice and quiet neighbours. We warned Baptiste just a few hours before our arrival, he was very responsive and the apartment was ready quickly! Thanks to him :)

Marc's warm welcome is a reflection of what has been built in this peaceful area. You have the real feeling of being in Balagne in the middle of this maquis. The flora and fauna thrive wonderfully... and so do we. Away from it all and for the respect of all, the swimming pool is a real success to enjoy this haven of peace. Specolantu is a fantastic village in the mountains of the Balange. We loved the view of the village square from the roof terrace of Géraldine's apartment. Despite the small size of the village, there are countless things to watch. The labyrinthine alleys of the village have captivated us. In Speloncatus Epicerie, there may be the best croissants of the island. La Voute beckons with a great atmosphere, the best prices, and a great pizza. Gèraldine's three-story house convinces with a nice kitchen, cozy beds and lots of authenticity.

Karine's accommodation impresses with its authenticity and cozy furnishings. We felt comfortable right away, whether in the beautiful living room or outside on the pleasantly cool Piazzetta, despite the already hot temperatures. We liked that you are not in a tourist village, but a quiet yet lively Corsican village with many locals. Thank you Karine for this gem, and your impeccable communication.

Pleasant and functional accommodation in a quiet and peaceful hamlet with a magnificent view. The exterior and its summer kitchen are a more appreciable plus. Stéphanie and Marc are very friendly and discreet hosts. We would recommend it without hesitation.

Bettina was away during our stay, however we were always able to reach her and she allowed us to arrive very early in the apartment. The accommodation matches the description, it is clean, rather well-equipped and very easy to access. Its location allows for many walks in the surroundings. However, remember to bring laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, shampoo and also a little toilet paper (one roll for the dishwasher per week).

A great accommodation in a beautiful landscape! The apartment is perfectly equipped and very clean. The garden with the pool is heavenly. Valerie and Bruno are warm hosts who give great tips for excursions. The accommodation is a very good starting point for hikes in the north of Corsica. Too bad the time is already over!

We had a great stay at Elo's apartment. The apartment is very spacious and superbly equipped. The view from the balcony to the mountains is very beautiful and you are still quickly at the sea. Great!

We had a wonderful stay at Sandra's, a caring host who warmly welcomed us, with delicate touches during the stay such as her strawberry jam and homemade canistrellis. The accommodation is very clean, well-equipped, and ideally located in a peaceful and relaxing setting. The terrace offers a magnificent view, perfect for aperitifs in peace and quiet, and the pool is ideal for cooling off at the beginning or end of the day. The coastal path that leads to Île-Rousse is a real asset, pleasant for walking to the village. The surroundings are full of wonders to discover: typical villages (Lumio, Pigna, Sant'Antonino), beaches with crystal clear waters (Punta Spano, Bodri, Lozari, Algajola...), the citadel of Calvi or the Asco river for a nature getaway (watch out for the winding road). An unforgettable stay in a beautiful area and a perfect rental, which we recommend without hesitation!

A real pleasure to be in the middle of nature, in a quiet setting, with access to the coast or the surrounding villages within a very reasonable time... Clean, tidy and bright apartment, complete with every comfort. The terrace overlooking the sea is a remarkable leap in quality. Private parking space. Beach and shops easily accessible on foot. Marie is a welcoming and kind host.

Perfect spot for us for the night before we started the GR20. Quiet space and easy access to local restaurants and the trailhead.

Eva's apartment is well equipped, nicely decorated and especially pleasant: it smells good. In the kitchen there was really everything necessary, even Tupperware containers! The terrace with the view is worth gold and of course the air conditioning, even at the end of August. At night it was very quiet and overall we felt undisturbed. The location could be a little closer to the old town, at over 30 degrees the way back was often drawn out. Particularly positive was the proactive and friendly communication with Eva, who even advised us to check out later. We absolutely recommend Eva's apartment.

The accommodation is new and functional, very well equipped and spacious. The views are beautiful, the beach can be reached in 5 minutes. Florence is welcoming and advised us on places to visit, hikes. We'll be happy to go back!
