Hadrian’s Wall Hut, Twice Brewed

ChloeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Sarah and Andy could not have been better hosts. From the moment we pulled up, Andy was there to greet us, giving us a comprehensive rundown of all the amenities and ensuring we felt right at home. We had the unique privilege of being the very first guests to experience their brand new sauna, and Sarah & Andy couldn't have been more accommodating in getting it ready for us. The sauna was fantastic, with a lovely view and a really relaxing feel. Having stayed in several shepherd's huts before, I can confidently say that Hadrian's Huts stands out as a firm favourite. The interior is a testament to thoughtful design, creating a tranquil and well appointed space that immediately puts you at ease. Coupled with the beautiful expansive views, it provided the peaceful break we were so desperately seeking. It's clear that every detail has been considered to offer guests a truly serene and memorable escape in the Northumberland Countryside. We cant wait to come back!

Could not have been a better stay. The space is large and lovely, with everything one needs. Beautiful and uncluttered living area, with amazing views, an easy walk to Vindolanda and Hadrian’s Walk.

Shepherd's Hut at Bridge House

MichaelRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Arrived by bike with a friend rather hot having just climbed a short but sharp hill to get there. We were immediately directed to a secure location for the bikes - a plus point in our world. To say it was a hot day was an understatement and I have to confess to being concerned about whether the Shepherds Hut would be a little hot inside. Quickly opened the doors and windows and soon found the atmosphere perfect. Big thanks for the breakfast which is laid it with a variety of food for all tastes. Especially loved the home made preserves and the variety on offer including cafatiere which for me is the only way to start the day.

beautiful area, very remote and no phone signal which was perfect... it is a drive to any amenities but worth it... very private and tranquil place.

Whitchester farm cottage Haltwhistle

AlexRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Fantastic farm cottage on a quiet road only 10 mins from Hadrian's Wall and other activities in the area. Exactly as the pictures show but bigger than you think! Being on a working farm you are overlooking beautiful fields and have the animals in the sheds behind the cottage, we enjoyed our stay very much. would definitely recommend. Thanks Paula

Secluded Woodland Cabin in North Cumbria

We had a lovely few days in our cabin! The cabin is spacious and has everything you need inside. Nice little area to sit out in with the dog as well. We brought a long line and tied it to the porch so our pup could explore round the cabin. Definitely recommend for a cosy weekend away
