Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Orange County

Great place, lots of room and everything someone would need to cook, bbq and sleep

We had a wonderful time making s'mores on the fire pit, playing pool, and relaxing on the comfy furniture! The host's communication was excellent, warning us of road construction and checking to ensure we arrived without confusion with landmarks. The binder with information was extremely helpful. The hosts even left the lights on for our late evening arrival, and the house was nice and cool from the air conditioning. My kiddos were sad to leave, and we are already planning another trip back!

We cannot recommend Tony's place enough. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely come back if in Vermont again. The open fireplace in the kitchen was used daily and it was so relaxing to come downstairs in the morning, start a fire, open the back doors and listen to the birds. Tony was great as well. He checked in on us and made sure we felt right at home. We loved every second of it. Thank you for having us.

We had a lovely stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed. One nice add on was the fresh syrup you could purchase from their maple syrup business! The living space was homey and worked well with children. The views were spectacular and it's only 6 minutes from White River Disc golf and playground! We checked out VINS (a recommendations of Al's on the way home) and it was also a hit! Would recommend!

We loved spending our time in Vermont at Bonnie’s place! The house had everything we needed and Bonnie was a great and responsive host. The horses next door were such a treat for our kids to see and the views were beautiful.

My husband, son and daughter had a wonderful stay . . . so many birds!!! Very cozy space and Mallory was just wonderful and helpful with everything. Too bad the weather was rainy over the weekend because my son wanted to hike the nearby trail :) Hope to meet you someday when you come up to our area in Maine . . We plan on booking some point in the future. Our daughter goes to a nearby school and the location was perfect!

We stayed at Julie and Marks because we had a wedding to go to at Norwich University, which was right across the street! Julie and Mark were fantastic and made everything easy and great for us! Listing said it was very suitable for infants under 2 years of age but I feel like it was just fine for my 11 month old. They provided a baby gate for the stairs and wall plug covers for the outlets. Rooms were a great size and plenty of common living space! The game room in the basement was fantastic place for the adults to hang out in after the kids were in bed! Will be staying here again!

Very tranquil place, very clean shower, comfortable bed, great amenities, lots of magazines and easy to use television. Very short distance from Montpelier. Nice bird variety, lovely flowers, you can hear the river from the apartment. Bridge is cool, river bank is fun, chairs outside.

Kim’s place is very quaint and is well equipped to make full course meals. The backyard and pool are incredible! You can easily star gaze from the backyard and soak up the sun. Her and her husband are very on top of the property, so it looks nice and continues to stay nice and inviting. Kim was quick to respond when I needed anything and she was great to work with. She is open to long-term stays, so if you’re looking for a 3+ month rental, then I encourage you to check out Kim’s place!

Bob was a country man. He welcomed us into his home and provided late check in. The place was clean and comfortable as we had a long hiking day. The shower was hot and relaxed me. Thanks for making our stay great

This finished basement apartment was perfect for a weekend stay while visiting family in Barre. It was comfortable and chic, thoughtfully curated. Keep in mind it is the basement of the host family's full time home, so you will hear their movement above (which didn't bother me) and there are no windows that allow natural light in so nice, dark sleeping conditions but maybe a little difficult to get going in the morning! I bumped into the host, Courtney, and she was super friendly and very approachable.

Jennifer's place had everything needed. Is quiet and comfortable.

Phoebe’s place is a bit of heaven in Vermont. The apartment is beautiful and incredibly spacious - it’s even better than the photos. The surroundings are gorgeous, with the large green right outside your door, and a small river to walk by out back. Phoebe was incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for more! We look forward to visiting Strafford again. Thanks for everything Phoebe!

Bonnie and Jerry were incredibly friendly. They both greeted us when we first arrived and offered any assistance for our stay. The location is pristine and glorious! Right on a lake with a view, there is a golf course and resort within walking distance. Would absolutely stay here again! Thank you!

This was such a lovely spot! Peaceful and private with beautiful views and yet close to downtown Montpelier and all its attractions. We will definitely stay again the next time we visit Vermont!

A wonderful place to stay. As a host Matthew goes the extra mile. We stay here every year and this year my 7 year old niece visited and is now making plans for next year. Family memories in the making. Thank you for sharing this special place. It's always a joy to go and stay.

This was are 3rd visit and first visit with our 5 + 7 year old. We loved hiking down to the pond and spending the day there on the cute sandy beach. Cool evenings around the fire pit making s’mores was the perfect ending to the day. The cabin was SO clean and a great fit for our family of 4. Thank you!!!

Our stay at Tim and Renee’s was perfect. Gorgeous tiny house, super comfy, the hot tub was amazing. The spot the Airbnb is on is very private and peaceful. South Royalton is a cute little town with a nice food coop and coffee shop. Tim and Renee were super responsive the couple of times we had questions. Would absolutely come back.

Brooke’s cabin is a gem. My family felt right at home, and our small children loved the book and games and said it was “so comfy.” The cabin is adorable, spacious, and has everything you need. It was the perfect landing spot after a day of adventuring and spending time with our family nearby. We would definitely stay again on our next trip to the area!

Exactly as advertised - beautiful, very private, clean; a perfect place for a solo/couple getaway. Seamless communication and logistics with the friendly hosts, who clearly maintain the cabin with care. Book it!

The view simply amazing. George our host was and he is all the things a good host should be; welcoming, helpful, accommodating, great personality and an awesome dog as well. I will strongly recommend this location if staying on top of a mountain with great views and a warm shower sounds like a great day to you. We stayed in the main cabin and it had everything we needed and then some. Very cool vintage design feel and very clean. Great job George! We will be back!

This was a great and peaceful place for my girlfriend and I to spend some time away from home. The house was amazing, Agnes was prepared for everything and gave us more than enough information about everything regarding the house, town, and safety. We would 100% come back and highly suggest this place!
