The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

We offer a quiet stay in our house in Orgueil, between Toulouse and Montauban. A farmers' market open 7 days a week is a 5-minute walk away. The house consists of a bedroom with a 140 bed, shower room, toilet, kitchen, living/dining room with a 120 sofa bed (TV, Wi-Fi), a mezzanine with a 90 bed and a garden with terrace.
