Holiday rentals in Órmos Athiniós

We had a fantastic stay at this spacious Airbnb! The home was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our group of friends. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves, and the common areas were great for hanging out together. The host was responsive and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches and how well-equipped the place was. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy and roomy place to stay with friends!

The perfect stay if you’re looking for luxury and an authentic experience. The restoration of the winery is done to such a beautiful standard, there’s clearly been a lot of time and thought put into making this a magical space. We can recommend watching the sunrise from the pool, befriending the sweet neighbour (who shared her cooking with us!) and taking a boat tour to the caldera if you can. Ioannis was an exceptional host and made our stay extremely comfortable, sharing the story of the renovation with us and making sure Kanava felt like home for our stay. He was also fantastic at organising us transport and our boat tour, so we didn’t have to think about anything! If you’re on the fence at all, (although we’re not sure why, look at it!), just book it! We wished we had longer at Kanava, and if we’re ever in Santorini again, we’ll be back! Laura & Rob

Great villa with great views and Sophia was an amazing host always happy to help. It was nice to be within a quick walk of the pretty traditional village Megalochori. The restaurants that Sophia recommended were excellent.

The villa is modern, stylish and comfortable. We stayed in the second one, a little further away from the main road which affords more privacy and is relatively peaceful. A car is necessary to get about but taxis are readily available through Alex, who met us there on arrival, he was super helpful arranging car hire, restaurant bookings, taxis, boat trips, breakfast etc and was very responsive throughout our stay. My only small criticisms would be that the air conditioning was not very effective so the use of ceiling fans on the highest setting was necessary during the night and our stay took place the first week of June. Also the sunbeds and dining seating was quite uncomfortable as it had no cushioning so we improvised and used the cushions from the outdoor patio set to put under our towels for sunbathing. None of this detracted from our wonderful holiday in beautiful Santorini.

If you are claustrophobic, I do not recommend it because it is very small but otherwise the accommodation is great, and we had a great time! A fridge, a great bathroom, shower gel/soap/shampoo/conditioner and bath towels provided: super convenient for those traveling light In one week, a cleaning lady came twice: the pleasant surprise because when it's small, it gets dirty quickly. You directly overlook a mini courtyard, with a small table and two chairs. It was super cozy! We parked our scooter in front of the cottage, we had coffee or an aperitif on this little table and the bedroom door was always open which gave the impression of having your own little outdoor space.

We had an incredible time at Vasiliki's. Can't recommend this place enough. Vasiliki was incredibly accommodating, super helpful and friendly. We went to see her play twice and both were the best nights on the island. The location is perfect close to everything yet not noisy, hidden right in the centre. Best airbnb experience.

Compared to the cost of novelty hotels and resorts on Santorini, getting a Villa like this was the move! it is on the southwestern tip of the island, but with a car everything was within a 20-45min drive. Was half the price of getting 2 hotel rooms in Fira or Oia, and you get a giant villa! infinity pool was awesome. stayed warm surprisingly. there are actually TWO hot tubs that the pictures actually undersell and don't do justice. they are like inground mini pools with benches. Only probably 90-94degrees though. but still comfortable to sit in at night and stare and the stars and the lights shimmering from rest of island. the sunset and views here are 💯! really close to black sand beach (17min drive), red beach not far, and white beach (15-20min). breakfast delivered every morning is really good and fresh. bathrooms and showers plentiful. Only downside is how the upstairs area and location on island turns the upstairs terrace into a wind tunnel. but all islands get windy!

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. The view is second to none, and the service is just as incredible! They were very accommodating, and the entire stay was perfect! I’ll be dreaming about the view for years to come!
