Gamlestova at Juv

Juv is much more than just house and bed! Gamlestova was the original farmhouse and has the same amazing views as Juvsøyna at Juv and Gamletunet at Juv. From the four-poster bed in the living room you can wake up to the sunrise and if you are lucky enough to follow a tourist boat on the way to Olden with your eyes. In the evening you can fire in the oven, feel the good heat, read a good book and fall asleep to the light of the flames and the sound from the wood-burning stove close by. NB! Outdoor hot tub and car charger are not included in rent price.

Relax together with the whole family at this peaceful and cozy log cabin called "Fossegløse". You can sit in the covered jacuzzi and enjoy the view of the river and the waterfall Støylefossen waterfall. You can explore famous places such as Geiranger and Olden(about 2 hours) , Loen with Loen Skylift(1.5 hours), the bird island Runde, Øye(1h)and Jugendbyen Ålesund(1.5h), and take mountain hikes on foot or by skis to Slogen, Saudehornet, Liadalsnipa, Molladalen and Melshornet(can go from the cabin). Close to several alpine and cross-country trails.

Quiet area with great views to Ørstafjella, and access to the garden with hens, sheep, calves and horses at the disposal of the guest. We also have a boat for rent in Ørstafjorden. Great hiking area right behind the cabin, with old hellevei laid out by around 1000 large either in the 1800s. We are also in the middle of attractions like Geiranger, Loen and Olden, and Runde with the bird mountain. Also Jugendbyen Ålesund is 1.5 hrs away. In Fosnavågen, we have Sunnmørsbadet water park, 45 minutes away if the day is gray...

Your parking space is in front of our house, and you go down an exterior staircase to your entrance. The entry has a big wardrobe. Next is the modern and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and washer dryer combo. Down the hallway is a bedroom with a 150x200cm bed and a big closet, and a living room with a sofa bed that pulls out to 140x200cm and a crib.
