Bauchops Hill Station Farmstay

Bauchops Hill Station is a 2100ha working farm where our family have lived for three generations. Nestled in the Mackenzie basin, our cottage will allow you to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of country farm life whilst surrounded by stunning views of the mountains. There is no cell phone coverage, so turn off and unwind -we do have WiFi! Great views into Mt Dobson ski field, 25 minutes to Tekapo & Fairlie. Farm tours available upon request, e.g sheep shearing, working dog demonstrations.

Indi Farms - A little bit country.

Our open plan Portacottage provides a comfortable and relaxing stay. As well as the basics to make you feel more than at home, we are also able to cater for your most loved pet providing they can sleep outside. We also have paddocks to accommodate horses. (Summer months only) There is lots to see and do, Ollie the horse loves carrots, the cats may come and visit, calves need patting and at times we have sheep and lambs to play with. We offer breakfast when stays are for a minimum of two nights.

A 2nd DETACHED room as an additional bedroom is available (see photo, fees apply) The cottage is equipped with microwave, stove top, toaster, kettle and basic utensils to prepare a simple meal. Private, delightful garden & decks facing the sun. Outdoor seating provided. Your well behaved, house trained dog is welcome to stay. Welcome to Greenbank! Our special slice of paradise only 20 minutes from Dunedin and 10 minutes from the airport - this is country living at its finest! Our place is nestled in the heart of the Taieri Plains on a 25ha working farm. The original half of the homestead was built in 1868, and while the guest accomodation was developed about a century later, it has been tastefully designed to replicate the character of the main home. Enjoy a night in this rural setting, surrounded by animals. In your own space and also being so close to town. Attached to a newly built shed is this self contained unit. Complete with: * Kitchen with basic essentials * Seperate Bedroom (queen bed) * Bathroom with big shower and toilet. * Sofa Bed * Porta cot available on request. * Plenty of room for parking. We pride ourselves on being very clean and are taking extra care at the moment to sanitise between guests.

Formosa Garden House

A lovely 3 bedroom farm flat with double glassing windows and new carpet situated in an organic garden. This guest house is joined to the main house with its own kitchen, bath, toilet and laundry. This flat is in a natural reserve area and you will wake up in the singing of birds. It is about 6 Km from Otago University. You have to drive up the valley and about 500m unsealed road to reach this tranquil paradise and enjoy a relaxing, peaceful holiday in our farm.

Delightful 1-bed barn with stunning mountain views

Come and enjoy a stay on our beautiful lavender and olive farm, with breathtaking mountain views. The Barn has 1 queen-sized bed, 1 sofa bed and private bathroom. There is a microwave, fridge and bbq, tea, coffee, crockery etc You can picnic in the gardens or say hello to the dogs, cats, & alpacas! Breakfast cereals, bread, jams, coffee, teas etc are provided . You can also treat yourself from our range of natural lavender products in our on-site shop.

Merton Park farmstay

We are a small self sufficient farm with friendly goats, donkeys, alpacas and cattle. We have free range chickens in the orchard and ducks on the pond. We grow much of our own fruit and vegetables. We have 87 acres of hillside you are welcome to explore. Right on the main road, but peaceful and private, we are only 30 minutes' drive from Dunedin city centre, and 10 minutes from delightful beaches, friendly villages, and a bird sanctuary.
