Based in Azumino and Ikeda Town in autumn, embark on a journey to see the stunning views of the Northern Alps and the colorful autumn foliage. In Shinshu, from September to November, the autumn foliage gradually descends from the mountains to the lowlands. You can enjoy autumn scenery in various places, including Hakuba/Happo Pond, Kamikochi, and the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. During the day, head to the mountains and highlands to see the autumn leaves. When you return, relax in the sauna and water bath. In the evening, enjoy a quiet time in the countryside while enjoying a BBQ and the starry sky. Since it is a whole house rental that can accommodate up to 12 people, it is recommended not only for family or group trips, but also for couples or small groups staying for consecutive nights. Conveniently located as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe. There is also a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, so you can stay comfortably even for multiple nights. You can get here by public transportation, but it is more convenient if you have a car. Free pick-up and drop-off are available from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station. Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000-8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, for trips within 2 hours each way. For groups of 5 or more, we can arrange a rental car, so please contact us in advance. October and November are the seasons to enjoy the autumn leaves and the quiet of Shinshu. It is also recommended for a leisurely trip where you stay for several nights and enjoy the different autumn scenes of places such as Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Azumino.

This is a quiet villa area at an altitude of about 1000 meters, Iizuna Kogen. Newly built in 2022, simple cabin full of wood aromas. With a 10 minute walk, you'll encounter so many beautiful scenery. Please take a look at Mt. Iino from Oza Hoshi Pond. About 3 minutes on foot from the nearest bus stop (Iizuna Higashi Ward)! It is about a 7-minute walk from the next nearest bus stop (Iizuna Kogen). You can also come by public transport. Walking distance to forest stations, Iizuna soba, ramen, burgers, and other restaurants. About a 25-minute drive from Nagano Station and Zenkoji.Togakushi Shrine is about a 15-minute drive away. It is also a great base for golf skiing to Togakushi, Kurohime, and Myoko. Please also use it for climbing mountains to Togakushi Kodo, Amato-mi Trail, and Mt. Iinjo. If you want to go to the hot springs, it's about a 15-minute drive to the Tenbukan on Lake Reisenji. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, a town blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, with a wealth of natural areas such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
