This place has a million excellent reviews, and for good reason. Its clean, cozy, and very simple, and everything is as described. Excellent communication with Joel and he was very accommodating. If you need a cost effective, clean, somewhat private place to stay, this place is perfect.

We had a great time hiking starved rock, had dinner at the lone buffalo, and retired for the night in this clean and comfy home! Would 10/10 recommend!

The place was exactly what we were looking for, to get away and do some spring hiking. Vanessa was great with communication.

Very cute, clean and comfortable! Had everything we needed. Love the location-very close to Starved Rock and Matthiessen which was our reason to be in Ottawa. Hosts sent a guide of things to do in the area and now we plan to come back! Loved the information they provided. Excellent communication and instructions. Highly recommend!

We always stay at The Baldwin House when we visit family in Streator. We feel right at home and most everything is a short walk away. The park, Walgreens, a delicious bakery, coffee shops, fabulous restaurants, and unique shopping. I highly recommend Toni's Airbnb and the restaurants, Good Morning, Good Day and Gaetano's Vault. We sleep and eat well in Streator. 💛😊

Clean and homey, my crew and I stayed here for an out of town job. It was nice to have a spacious place to come back and rest. Checking in was smooth and Alissa was very responsive. Thanks again.

This place is what air bnb is supposed to be. Comfy, cozy, all the necessities and also some extras. Hosts were great and left us snacks and even some treats for our dogs. The yard was very spacious and private. Firewood was included for the fire pit. Laundry supplies also were included. The bed was comfortable too. Water pressure was also pretty good too which was a very nice change of pace! Some good hiking is very close by as well as some good food options in the dow town area. I don't give out five stars often, but this is one of those times for sure. 👍

I do not have enough nice things to say about this house. Not only was it beautiful, but it was tastefully decorated, impeccably clean, and comfortably spacious. All the amenities for comfort living were provided, and the surrounding environment was so quaint and wholesome. Before we left we already started to plan our next visit here. Highly recommended, easy check in and out, and excellent communication from Richard and staff. Five stars all around on this one, highly recommended

Great place for multiples families with kids. The layout was perfect. Kids were happy, and parents were able to relax.

This is my 3rd family get-away to Heritage Harbor, and as usual it did not disappoint. The home was absolutely beautiful, with a few extra amenities that we did not expect. The view of the River, and even the Marina from the front of the house, was just beautiful. Cozy fireplace, well equipped kitchen, pristine bathrooms. The host and entire Heritage Harbor staff are so responsive and friendly. I highly recommend this beautiful home. Don't second guess it!

Harbor Inn, Captain’s Quarters was a great get away. Wonderful host and nice home. Great waterside community with close proximity to great bars and restaurants!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a quiet, pet friendly neighborhood with lovely views of the river. Everything we needed was provided and we liked the layout of the house. Regarding sleeping accommodations, there are beds for 6 people (2 queens with twin bunks above each) and additional sleeping options are provided via a pull-out sofa and 2 futons.

Fabulous. Probably one of our favorite places. Great home - we love the two story for a family with the master upstairs and the game room down so the kids and adults have their own space. We left some clothes behind and they went out of their way to get them back to us for. Minimal charge. We will definitely be back. Only downer was the walk to parking in the 10 degree wind! Amazing. 10 star!!!

Very clean and close to plenty of restaurants down town. I will gladly stay there again when I am in town for work. This was way better than staying at a hotel and the owners were very accommodating.

I needed a quiet place to stay to meditate, pray, study, etc. I also needed a place to meet up with a friend I hadn’t seen in 12 years. The friend was only there a short while with permission, of course, and the rest of the time I kept to my schedule and my main purpose for being there. The cottage was perfect for all the reasons I needed it to be perfect. Amber was very accommodating with my questions and requests. The cottage was like visiting someone’s grandmother without the grandmother being there. The bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

If you are visiting Starved Rock or one of the other amazing parks here this is the perfect location. Super cute house. Clean. Extra towels. Comfy beds. Dog friendly with an awesome fenced in yard. We enjoyed the fire pit. Cooked in the kitchen. And enjoyed the short walk to downtown Lasalle which has a few cute restaurants. Our host was incredibly responsive and helpful. If you are >6 feet tall be aware that the upstairs has a pretty low ceiling. But the pros here far outweigh that.

House was great! Had everything my crew and I needed. Very comfortable and the deck over looking the lake was a great place to relax after work.

We stayed at Elaine's place for a girls hiking trip. The house was exactly as described and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quit and peaceful. The location was just a short drive to Starved Rock State Park. The beds were comfortable after a day of exploring. The private backyard was very nice. We especially enjoyed the fire pit. I wouldn't hesitate to book this property again!

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time at Theresa’s fun house! Excellent location to visit Buffalo/Starved Rock State Park by day and try some excellent restaurants downtown at night. The house itself had so many fun options to play- all of us had a blast! We would absolutely come stay again! Thank you Theresa!

Perfect for a weekend stay near Starved Rock Park. Spacious living and sleeping areas, clean house and nice complex for families and dogs. Would go back again.
